  • Woot!

Just finishing my 14 day induction, and I'm down about 12 pounds! First week was very fast, second week slowed down quite a bit. Feeling pretty good overall, and will be moving to OWL1 this week.

    Induction Start 3/24/2009
    SW 260/GW 190
    Mini-Goal 1: 250
    - 4/7/2009!
    Mini-Goal 2: 240 - 4/22/2009!!
    Mini-Goal 3: 230
    Mini-Goal 4: 220
    Mini-Goal 5: 210
    Final-Goal: 190

Back after several years of eating everything. I didn't just fall off the wagon, I let it run me over. Then I got up, climbed into the driver seat, and drove straight off a cliff!

    Re: Woot!

Good job! The first week does usually tend to be faster than the second (in my experience), but don't let any slow downs discourage you...your body has to take a minute to figure out this new WOL you have taken on.

Hopefully you've crossed over into that fabulous place where there are no cravings and you have ton's of energy. That alone...even if you never lost weight again...can really make this worthwhile!

    Started: 3/2/09

    ~280~270~260~250~240~230~220~210~200~190

    Realistic Final Goal: 190
    Stretch Goal: 140

Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.
