    Happy Monday everyone!!

    I made it through Easter dinner without cheating - today is my weekly weigh/measure day.. I think with all the salty ham and TOM on the way I may not weigh in.. just take my measurements.

    Trying to scarf down some eggs and head out the door for a quick walk before i have to get ready for work.

    Going to chug the water today to try to rid myself of all that salt from yesterday.

    I too have had a lot of Ham...and feel swollen this morning...I have more ham to eat though....lol I wasn't perfect yesterday...had some nibbles of stuff I shouldn't have.. But I am not going to let that stop me to continue down the bad road...

    I have my foods planned for today...

      I also survived Easter at my inlaws. It was pretty easy since my sil is on a low carb diet also. They seem to cater to her so we didnt have potatoes, bread or pies. I had ham and a salad. I also drank 64 ounces of water!! Go me! Filtered water is so much tastier! I must admit I am getting sick of ham and chicken! I have to check out the recipes to make it better. Well, it is time to get ready for work. As much as I dread going I have to be thankful that I have a job! Hope everyone has a great

          Ok, I'll be the first...

          I'm a big fat cheater! I didn't make it through Easter at all, didn't even try much. Totally my fault. I feel like crap today because after about noon I stopped trying to stay on this WOE. I had a cheat afternoon. I had my little blow out and now I'm ready to get back to business.

          Damage report: I can barely see Everlosing as she is pulling away. Unless Vickie lost more weight, she and I are neck and neck now. If I would have cheated just a little more, I could have another celebration thread for hitting Wonderland again, but I stopped at 198. I'm sure it's mostly water, and should be back in the hunt in a few days. All in all, it wasn't worth the cardio I'll be putting myself through to repair the damage. Who knew it would be peeps, not pizza that would be my undoing.

          I hope everyone did better than me yesterday, but I did set the bar pretty low.

            i did fine through easter sunday. a lot of my extended family are jehovahs witness so i really dont have to worry much about holiday cheating.
            the things i do have to worry about is a family reunion in june back in my hometown. i've been wracking my brain on how to get through it though its a ways away still. my dads house has nothing atkins friendly in it,ever, and my new step mom cooks slightly healthier but she's ukranian and cooks a lot of fried sausages and things that i'd rather avoid and i dont want to be rude. at the actual reunion there is always bbq potato salad, crawfish (mmmmm), corn, all the staples of a southern summer get together. i'd just make my own food and bring it, but its almost a 5 hour drive....
            bah, i'm rambling this morning!

              Good Morning to all.........

              NOPE, I did NOT make it through EASTER without cheating....... We had breakfast early and I did great! but it was 2ish before we finally were able to eat our Lunch, so by then I didn't care (I know bad attitude) but today I'm back! stronger than ever!

              I am down 28 lbs and tried on my size 14 skirt yesterday, you know the one you SAVE to see IF you will ever get back into it???? well I zipped it up NO PROBLEM.... BUT still have that pudge going on... so can't wear it COMFORTABLY yet! but I"M getting there.....

              2 1/2 months ago I was a FULL SIZE 20........... I'm a comfortable 16 now with 14's insight!.................. I CAN AND I WILL CONTINUE THIS!

                Happy Monday STAC'ers.

                I didn't cheat at all yesterday. I had quiche and stewed veggis (soup with out broth) for breakfast and lunch, and I had a king crab salad for dinner. I still feel a little bloated (my hands & ankles are puffy). I definately got all my vegis in

                The best news is the flue that I had almost gotten rid of (working on 4 weeks) seems to be back full force. I have been coughing since last night and I feel like h3ll. I think I am going to have to go back to the doctor. One of my GF has pneumonia and I am starting to get worried.

                It is snowing here today. We have about 2" of fresh snow. My front yard was finally free of snow now is covered again

                Since we have some wagon faller offers with Easter- maybe we should have a week of induction? I can do another few days/week of induction if any one needs moral support.

                Have a grrrrreat day

                  Good morning all. I am a STACer and coming back after one year of being inactive. I look forward to shedding my way into healthiness. Lunch and dinner already prepped and breakfast is about to be made. Woo hoo! Here is to day one. Going to hit 2.5 miles of walking at the lake and some crunches too. Feeling pumped!                     Morning all...

                    No Easter cheats for me. I can say...however...that Friday night I had a shot of Tequila...and boy howdy! That made me want to nosh on carbs big time! If I had a bag of doritos in the house, they woulda been gone. Good thing I don't have handy treats at home! Seriously.

                    Back to the work grind today...My food plan today is 2 pieces of bacon for breakfast, celery and cream cheese for snacks, spaghetti squash and meat sauce for lunch, parmesan "fried" chicken tenders for dinner (maybe with a mock honey/mustard dressing) with some veggie side...maybe a salad since I gotta use up some romain. Yep...that's the plan. Oh...and a piece of sugar free crustless cheesecake. I've been eating one serving periodically throughout the day instead of all at once.

                    TOM finally started today. Scale is the same as it was friday. I hope to see some downward momentum by the end of this week.

                    Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

                      Put another check in the no Easter cheat column. (although if we were setting up a tally sheet for Spring Break, that'd be another story.)

                      We had New York Strips, salad, and sauteed mushrooms for supper. Hubby had to work so we didn't go to the folks and that's just as well.

                      My last day of Spring Break is today and it's back to the salt mines tomorrow to prep for CRCT. (that's our state standardized assessment.)

                      I cooked a bunch of hamburger patties and I'll make some tuna salad and egg salad to take with me.

                      Our principal is having a Stress Relief Day for us on Thursday and he's ordering pizza and having a massage therapist come in. How cool is that?

                        Well, TJ, if it makes ya feel any better....I blew it too!! I was overcome by the smells wafting through the air...ham, potatoes, baked beans, rolls, strawberry shortcake (Sara Lee) and jelly beans. YAY!! The funny part was I drank a Diet Rite!! What the H*LL for??? Well, I don't think there was anything better in the fridge. The worst part? NONE of it tasted like I remember. It wasn't that good. I was asleep on the couch when dinner was put on the table. I got up all hazy and dreamy and told my mom I wanted some REAL food and I ate it! Didn't get sick. Just felt sick in the head!! Negative ketostix though and it's been induction all day! No damage report because I am NOT going to look at the scale for a few days! It's just good that we're not laying under that bar we set anymore, TJ! It'll be okay!! So glad my son wasn't there! That would've been the worst!!!!!!!

                          Actually Ev, it makes me feel worse. I feel like I dragged you down too. I felt like crap all day today. I am in serious induction mode right now. I have to purge all of this crap from my body. I'm almost at two gallons of water for the day. I don't know why we do this to ourselves. I've never felt better than when I eat right, yet here we are. I didn't know carbs made you gassy. Wow. The dog is getting blamed a lot today!

                            You are so right about the gas. I feel like I NEVER have gas until I eat some carbs or sugar alcohols.

                            We had taco salad for supper tonight. That is just my favorite.
