    Morning Everyone

    Well... it's actually just past midnight here, but because my husband and I are leaving early tomorrow morning on our mini-vacation I wanted to check in before going to bed. Hope that's okay!

    We're off to visit hubby's family. They live about 4 hours away and we'll be gone until Thursday evening. I'm a little concerned about how I'll stay on plan (not through the drive - just at my MiL's place)... but trust me when I say I'll be doing my best to make the right choices!

    Wish me luck!!

    I was sorry to hear that a few of our members had troubles over Easter. But I was glad to read that you've re-dedicated yourself to the Best Eating Plan Ever!!

    TJ... yep... I'm down another pound from yesterday. 3 pounds in a matter of days!! So... keep drinking that water, stay away from the peeps and catch back up to me!!

    Ever... thanks for suggesting that I post my achievements in the Celebration forum. I really, really appreciate the enthusiastic support!! Thing is, I'm pretty happy just sticking here in the STAC forum. I like you guys!! I'll think about it, though. Maybe I'll do it when I get back from my in-laws.

    Good morning, all! I'm up early and I hate it! Already got the shower in but now I'd love to lay down and catch a few more zzzzzz's. I don't think I'd wake up in time for my day though!! Hope everyone has a great on plan day. I'm visiting induction again for a short while until I get get my groove (ahem, ketosis) back!!

      Vicki, good luck at the in-laws.

      It's lightening and thundering outside already. I thought today was supposed to clear up. Oh well, we need all the rain we can get.

      Today is my first day back to school after Spring Break...I'm ready to see the kiddies but I could NOT get to sleep last night. I'll be the walking dead today.

      Anyway, I have cooked hamburger patties to take for breakfast, sauteed chicken breast strips and salad for lunch and some boiled eggs.

      Doesn't that sound better than the Hardee's sausage biscuit and sweet tea I had at the beach?

        Good Morning.. I don't go into work until 11 this morning.. Nice thing about it....is that I can wash a couple loads of laundry before I go...

        I was exhausted last night..actually went to bed around 8 read for a while and then was asleep by 8:30... I don't know if I am going to be able to keep up with this pace at work..but she is promising me that things will slow down after next week.. I sure hope so...

        I am not eating enough..its hard to at work.. Yesterday I had 1 boiled egg in the morning..and then didn't eat lunch until 2...and then I could barely eat.. So when I got home.. I fixed some greenbeans that I had in the fridge...it had bacon in it.. Then I had the shakes and hubby fixed me a piece of KFC chicken I had in the fridge (I pulled the skin off)... So don't know if I was just exhausted or starving....

          Good Morning All J

          A big ole batch of the same ole.. same ole here. Foods, water, exercise on track. I’m still at 200 even, but trying to shrug it off after having a peek at 199 last week! I have upped my exercise.. and TOM arrived this morning so I think things should level out by next Monday… If not then back to monitoring my foods on Fitday!

          Sandy you’ll get into the swing of things with work. It just takes time… If you can take a couple cheese sticks or rolled slices of ham/turkey with you to snack on.. so if your lunch is going to be delayed.. you can have something that’s quick and doesn’t require heating up or prep of any kind.

          Ev – I’m sure you’ll get your groove back real quick J

          Vickie – have a wonderful time!

          Kelly – have a great first day back.

            veggie intake that has been low.

              i'm wearing a shirt today that i havent worn in 2 years because it was obscenely tight. I probably wouldnt wear it out in public just yet but its comfortable to wear around the house, yay!
              Having a bad couple days though lately. TOMs been especially cruel to me and i've been an emotional ball of crazy the last few days. On top of that my poor 12 year old dog has been sick forever and we still havent figured out why. She had an eye infection first, so we got antibiotics and all that jazz, but now for almost a month she's been throwing up like 10 times a day especially after she tries to drink water, going between being constipated and having very messy poo's in which i have to actually hose her off every time i take her out, panting, lethargy, etc. she doesnt seem to be digesting anything she's eating, and she's losing weight and can't get up the stairs anymore. When she was at the vet for her eye they said her lungs and heart sound fine, so my initial thought of congestive heart failure seems to be eased. then i thought it might be the antibiotic, but she's been off those for a week and still the same if not worse. but we still don't know whats wrong, and the stress of watching a dog i've had since i was 11 barfing every hour for a month plus being unusually emotional has got me really bummed out and frustrated because i feel like i just have to sit around and watch her die
              bleh sorry for the depressing post. i don't deal well with stuff like this i guess.

                Kib - Im very sorry to hear about your dog. Im only a Vet Tech, so I can't give you much insight into what exactly is going on with her, but I do suggest that you take her back into the vet. With all the vomiting and diarrhea she is having, she is probably dehydrated and needs some sub-q fluids. That alone might help tremendously. It also sounds like she could benefit from a bland food diet at this point and maybe some meds to help with the nausea and diarrhea. At 12, it could be a number of different things, but it couldn't hurt to get her more comfortable. Good luck and make sure you keep us updated.

                I didnt have the opportunity to check in yesterday, but I did fine over the Easter Holiday with no cheats. I had salad, deviled eggs and ham for Easter dinner. Im down another pound today for a total of 18 so far, and Im feeling great and very pleased with myself! I have however been slacking on my water intake and excercise, and I need to work on that. I cant wait for the new excercise challenge to start! I need it!

                  yeah we've put her on soft old lady dog food and she does ok with that as long as she doesnt try to scarf it down, and she doesnt throw up if we put her water in a more shallow bowl and dont let her drink a whole lot at once, but it takes watching her 24/7 to make sure she doesn't do that stuff (we have 2 other dogs and a cat and just leave their food and water out during the day) and its getting rather taxing. i've been pinching her skin to see if she feels dehydrated and it pops right back like its supposed to, but what shes throwing up (for fear of being gross) isn't food, its like foamy yellowish goop, like egg yolks. its pretty nasty. my worry is that i might be able to get her checked out again, but if they want to do anything fancy I can't afford it.

                      Happy Tuesday STAC'ers

                      I feel better today. The headache and sinus pressure seems to be gone (crossing my fingers).

                      Vicki you are doing great, you left me in the dust

                      Everloosing I am with ya. I am doing a few days to tighten up my eating and get the fat burning kicked into high gear.

                      I made another pot of soup yesterday, I had crab enchiladas for dinner (with out the tortilla), crean cheese, hvy cream, king crab, and green enchilada sauce.

                      Tonight we are visiting with our Tax guy. I am stressed because we have to pay and I don't have the money. I will be making payments to the IRS this year I don't know how we recieved a refund last year and this year we are paying. With all my medical bills I still do not have enough for deductions.

                      OK- I am done complaining.

                        A good late morning to all! 3lbs down on the first day? I am pumped again. I just realized this that the induction weight loss I am having is better than before. I also am exercising on induction this time. I am going to start a journal. Here is my food and exercise intake.

                        Day 1:
                        Breakfast:
                        3 eggs scrambled with one slice Swiss cheese

                        Lunch:
                        10 homemade BBQ wings

                        Dinner:
                        Homemade Caesar salad

                        1-12oz bottle of water..need to be drinking more

                        exercise: 30 mins brisk walk and 300 crunches

                        Day2:

                        Breakfast:
                        2 boiled eggs and (2)-2" slices of fish with some salsa

                        Lunch:
                        2 grilled chicken breasts

                        Dinner:
                        salad-Romaine lettuce, homemade salsa, 6 black olives & mozzarella cheese

                        exercise: 30 mins brisk walk and 300 crunches

                            Hey everyone! I can't say good morning like usual because I am on vacation from work sort of. My kids have spring break this week and with my wife's schedule, I had to take a week off. I am still going in every day though, just not at the crack of dawn. Sometimes it's good to be the boss, sometimes it sucks.

                            I jumped back into workout mode yesterday to make up for Sunday's sins. I am soooooore. I have more penance to do though, I sinned greatly. Four pounds of sin. Should be back to normal tomorrow.

                            Still waiting for Koober to take my crowns away. Oh look, I seem to have grown another one. Someone appears to be a whole lot of talk and no action.

                            We have some good STAC'ers MIA. Has anyone heard from Plsmachic or NewToAtkins in forever? I haven't heard from Jon since he won his bet. I think I'll shoot those two a PM later. Time to go shopping, the cupboards are bare.

                              Time my friend, just a little time.... I wouldn't want to have you wake up one day and see all your crowns gone, I am not that harsh, I will take them slowly one
                              by one... and I shall choose the time. Now everyday you will wake up and not know if your crowns are there or not until you log in... oh priceless !! Wonder how you will sleep at night not knowing ? : )
