This is crazy - I just entered my info on fitday and I looked at the one year weight chart. I am 17 pounds higher than I was May 08. I have been on and off Atkins for the past 2 years - but this time I am going to do it right. It has been so hard being a full time working mom to a child that does not sleep through the night! No time for me! And eating too much junk! Excuses, I know!!!
The major plus for me now, is that I am off work until July. I am studying, but that is flexible and I have committed to myself that every day my daughter is in daycare, I will do cardio and every day she is not, I will do pilates. (Too crazy trying to do cardio with a 3 year old trying to monopolize my step! - she loves pilates / yoga)
In 2004, I lost 47 pounds in 5 months. This time I want to lose 40 in 5 months. Since then I have had a baby, so I know my body has changed - but I still think this is doable.
I ate chocolate (my downfall) at Easter and now am ready to go! Wish me luck...
