  • Im back yet again..

Hi everyone, Some of you might remember me but for those that don’t I’ve been here many times before and seem to do really well then fall off. AHhhh....

My husband went back to Iraq this morning and I’m just tired of feeling crappy and eating crap so here I am ready to do this again and this time for good. As I sit here typing this I feel like a huge failure and so disappointed in myself. I’m not even sure what I’ve put on in weight, I dare not get on the scale out of fear of beating myself up even more then I am now. I’m guessing close to 170 lbs. Before I went to Australia on March 10th I was 155 and so happy I had worked so hard.

I ate pizza last night with the mind set I will be good tomorrow and start tomorrow and today I feel like utter crap, my tummy hurts and I feel bloated. I woke up feeling like I had a huge hang over so that will teach me to eat bad foods that I know will rip me up the next day. Lol

Anyway I’m here and I’m going to do it this time… Im ready to get back on and stay on the Atkins wagon. lol

eta - I got the balls and got on the scales and found out its not to bad Im at 166 lbs not great, but its Ok I can do this.

Welcome back. I hope there's no more pizza left in the fridge and that you did all the planning necessary to avoid running into Mr. Sugar.

Water, water and more water for the bloating.

    Happy Atkins'ing!

Yes the pizza is all gone, I also got rid of the other icky stuff I cant have. I just boiled up some eggs and put them in the fridge. Ive got beans and some ham for dinner and salad for lunch.

Thanks for the water advice thats my down fall, I really have to force the water in.

Girl!!! You better get that water in!! I always lose much faster with huge water consumption! It just works. It's not fun trying to get it in at the end of the day though, so start early! I have never in my life liked water....until now. I had to learn to like it. I wouldn't let myself drink anything else! I went out and bought 20+ ounce sports bottles and I refill them every day with filtered water from my Pur pitcher. They've got the squirt sport top on them and that, for some reason, makes it much easier for me to down the water and down it quickly. I try to have 64 ounces in by noon, minimum, and the rest of the day and nights water consumption is gravy, so to speak! It works and the results especially during induction are awesome. Eventually my bladder adjusted to the fluid overload so it's not too bothersome anymore. Before this WOE, I ONLY drank Coke, MelloYello, coffee and sugar sweetened tea. I bet I only peed 3 or 4 times per day! No telling what my body was thinking during induction.

I wish you well and know you can do this again! The STAC forum is proud to have you back!! How exciting to transform while your honey is away. He'll be so excited to see you when he gets home!! Come visit us and check in, in the roll call thread if you haven't already!
