  • I'm Back - and PROUD of it

OK, I give! I *need* ADBB!!!

I was here back in '04 and '05 and lost 135 lbs.

I went SO far off the wagon all that's left is the wagon wheel tracks in the dirt and a bit of dust on the horizon.

I've tried twice to get back on Atkins, and failed almost instantly. Couldn't even get through the two week Induction.

What didn't I do those two times that I did the first time? Get back on ADBB and soak up the support, the knowledge, and the love, bay-beeeee

I spent the weekend re-reading the book, creating menues for the week, relieving my kitchen of all the c-r-a-p that was there, and grocery shopping. I weighed myself this morning (ouch) and headed to Fitday.

I'm not going to beat myself up, I'm not going to get down on myself, I'm just going to do what I know needs to be done - strict Induction, exercise, and lots of reading ADBB. "I can't change what happened yesterday, I can only learn from it and move forward."

So here I am Now pass me a bottle of water and let's move on.

Thanks for the welcomes. You know the really sad part in all this? I've been back to this healthy way of eating for what....six hours? LOL And already I mentally FEEL better. No guilt every time I eat, drinking water makes me feel good about myself... why do I stray away when I feel THIS good when I'm doing "the right thing"??? I'll have to figure it out if I'm going to make a life-long change this time!
