Hey, Kell!! Down another pound. I'll take it!! The veggie increase is working like magic right now!! I'm convinced I'd lose more if I could get rid of the swelling in my legs, feet and ankles from the tendonitis!! ToM seems to be leaving the building and taking my enemies with him!!
Still, no TJ. I miss him!

What's your menu, Ev? I'm sure you've posted it somewhere else but I generally don't venture far outside the STAC.
Jess, I'm going to try the six mini meals today. Wish me luck. I would've done it yesterday but I walked off and left my food here. I crossed my fingers when I got to school and asked the cafeteria ladies what was for lunch..."Sloppy Joes and Tater Tots."
Hmmm, I guess we should make sure that all important learning takes place BEFORE lunch. Sure won't be after lunch when all the kids are going into food comas.
So, I'm looking at 8/10/12/2/4/6 for my mini meals. I'm going to plan the food in advance so I'll do a better job sticking to it.
Also, our middle school faculty played high school faculty in a fundraiser basketball game last night so I was very late getting home and didn't get on the treadmill. The good news????? I missed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's major, right there. LOL!!!

Morning all! Im only down one pound, but it's a pound, so I'll take it. I have a feeling I'll get a whoosie here in a couple days, so I'm hanging in there.
I'm working 10 hours today, but I plan on going for a walk during my lunch break since today is supposed to be the last day without rain around here until Sunday

Morning All!
Ev I totally agree on the veggies! I have been making sure to get them in this week.. and have started to drop weight again. Was 194.8 this morning.
Mrs Davis .. I went through 3 or 4 weeks when I didnt lose an ounce! take the pound! LOL!
Kelly - That is huge! I am just now at the point where I miss working out... I'm not so sure it's due to a love of exercise tho - it may be more guilt
Slap - nice going on stairmaster first thing.. out for a brisk walk is about as strenuous as I can muster at 6am.

EL..I think you would definitely be down another pound without all that swelling! Take it from a girl who swells often...it weighs a lot!

Dinner last night was sooooo yummy that I can't WAIT for lunch today as I'm having leftovers. I made a ground beef and broccoli casserole....OMG...it was soooo totally comfort foodish! MMMMMmmm...honestly, the only thing I would have done different was add a smidge more broccoli. I did one pound of beef and about 3/4 of a bag of frozen broccoli...next time I think I'll do 1.5 bags...seemed like it needed more, and that would stretch it out farther, too.
Inspiration for last nights dinner came from here: http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/hamburger_broccoli_alfredo_casserole.html but I used a prepared alfredo sauce from Costco and I browned the meet in a little Worcestershire, and garlic and onions. I added a touch of jack and parm cheeses on top.
As I get closer to leaving town, the offerings in my fridge are getting more and more sparse...lol...but still have tons of cheese! :\ I guess I'll break out the vacuum sealer and get-a-suckin.
I'm not going to make it to the gym before I leave town...just aint gonna happen. I have a friend coming over after work and once he leaves I gotta finalize my packing because tomorrow I gotta be in bed by 7pm! Yeah...ewe. I'm not sweatin the whole gym thing though...I gotta tell ya, my hips have been pain free going into 3 days right now! I'm not sure what to do with myself. I usually have pain every step I take...right now I have NOTHING at all...it's been so incredible! I wish I knew my secret!
My friend at work says it's because I know I'm about to go on vacation. If I stay pain free through vacation...wow...that will be a trip!

Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

Good Morning! I'm slow getting going this morning but truly getting organized for a long day. That hamburger casserole sounds heavenly Rajenki, I love broccoli and Alfredo sauce. I'm having a bit of exercise reluctance today, it's raining and cold and I can think of one hundred things I need to do..... Guess I can walk with an umbrella to warm up for the daily life marathon!

Hi Everyone
I've been MIA for the past few days - I'm having issues at work (i.e., I'm disliking being here more and more each day) and as a result I've been extremely stressed. On Sunday I was even experiencing a little anxiety (heavy chest, constricted throat) about going to work on Monday. Well... I made it through yesterday and I'm here today... things aren't really all that bad... it's more about being unfullfilled. But it's also a personal anger for not making things happen for myself - like the interior remodeling/design business I'm wanting to develop. I spend too much time thinking about things and not doing them. I have no follow-through. Whine, whine!!
Anyway!!
The weekend was a struggle, but I'm still on plan.
Dinner last night was so scrumptious!! I made chicken alfredo. MMM! First I sauted a little bacon, onions, mushrooms & garlic cloves together, added my chicken breasts in to brown them (sprinkled with Itailian seasoning) then added a jar of sauce. Simmer for about 1/2 hour and voila!! I made some noodles for my hubby, but I pour a little of my sauce over brocolli. It's a dinner fave around our house!
EL - contrats on another pound down!!
