  • Need some motivation: ie kick in the tushie!

Ok so give it to me. I made goal around the first of the year (need to update the siggy) and have been on and off bouncing within a 10lbs range since then and can't get my mojo back. (currently 10 up) My head is just all over the place. I'm in all the same clothes - but things just don't feel as good being on the high end. I'm having such FIERCE cravings now. I never tried that enzyme that I have heard mentioned (Name??) to help with that - anyone have any experience or reviews...or if it might be worthwhile. I lost over 103 lbs doing adkins. The rational side of me KNOWS it works and I KNOW I feel better when I'm on plan - but dang I'm in a slump! With the better weather I am trying to exercise more. I am SO incredibly fatigued. ugh my head is feeling foggy

I made it through today though!

    Hi Erika!

Since you have reached your goal, I assume you made your way through OWL, Pre-Maintenance and Maintenance, right? So you should know what your "triggers" are. Have you recently added any of them or anything new food to your diet? Or did you just go to Sugar Land?

In any case, what you should do is go back to Induction and then quickly switch to OWL until you get back to goal.

    Happy low carbing.

enticed by sugar and carb land yep - the plan is induction for 2 weeks and then owl. I've stayed true all week and I'm feeling good. I didn't splurge even with a brunch of NOTHING but carbs: bagels, danish, kolachki, OJ,.....I just enjoyed my decaf with cream Tomorrow is my daughters b-day party I need to hurdle the cake and ice cream! BUt i managed to make and frost the cake without a single lick

Good for you. I'm happy to hear you got back into the Atkins mindset.

Have fun tomorrow and happy birthday to your daughter!

good attitude - keep moving forward. Stay off the scale until the end of your induction, drink another glass of water today and get a little exercise in before bedtime. And....Happy Mother's Day.

Welcome back - glad to see you again.
