  • Roll Call Saturday, 5/17/09!!

    It's a huge day of celebration for me on my Atkins journey!!! I'm going over to the Celebration Forum to dance in a little while!! Come join me!!

    Hope you're all doing well today! I'm so glad to have a weekend to myself!! I'm really excited and cannot hide it so I'm going to stop babbling now and go make the post I've been waiting for!!

      Good morning Everlosing, can't wait to come back later and see what all the excitement is about.

      I finally got the scale moving again, I STOPPED using extra coconut oil. I think the CO is great stuff and is magic for some, but I think I was already using enough extra fats, I use butter and cream and olive oil and grapeseed oil and sesame oil, I think I didn't need the extra.

      Or it could have been the 2 pounds of strawberries I have eaten over the last week. They do seem to be a wooshie food for me. Either way, off CO for a while and eating strawberries as long as they stay in season!

      Well, gotta go to work, everyone have an awesome day!

        Congrats EL, I'm with you today (though 10 lbs behind). Hit Onderland this morning!

        Congrats on getting the scale moving MtoM ! Glad you figured out the coconut oil...

        Off to the market, then golf, then planting 60 impatiens!

          Time for breakfast! I weigh 364 today, and I'm EXCITED! Time to get out and actually join the gym since my free passes expired, and it's pouring rain all day today. Can't wait to hit all the machines. Tried yesterday, but nobody was home (really small gym).
          What I do:
          Elliptical gym machine 1 hr Tue-Sun
          At 320, switch to cycling on my Trek 500
          2 filtered containers water/day
          Daily salads/veggies


          Goals:

          Stop needing High Blood Pressure meds - DONE!
          Workout in a XXXL shirt
          - DONE!
          Workout in a XXL shirt
          Workout in a XL shirt
          270 on the scales

            Hello everyone!
            Day #2 down.

            Am OP today, but ate perhaps more than I ought to have eaten... (can you eat too much tuna+mayo?) Emotional eating still an issue for me. Gargh. Did a bit of cardio (jumprope + my kickboxing) and some yoga.

            Managed to duck out of a dinner. Was racking my brain trying to think up ways to eat OP or deal w. eating in a social situation, but I think that the simplest solution might just be to avoid them for these two weeks. It's not permanent, but is necessary right now.

            Congrats, Everlosing!!! Celebrating with you!

            Momtomany1~ Good job getting the scale moving again. It's tough to cut back on healthy foods that are fine by themselves but just don't work for you right now, but good for you for doing it.

            Slapshot~ Those 60 impatients sound like work, but worth it in the end. Lots of good day activities.

            JohnSantos (I keep misreading your name as "John STAMOS" (aka uncle jesse from Full House) Hope you show the gym who's boss!

              Focused~Good job on avoiding the social situation that may have lead you to go off plan! I feel that way too, I try to avoid situations where there will be temptation and stick to what I know is safe! It's more important to me to stay on plan and lose weight right now! WTG!

              My scale was up 2 pounds this am but I'm not stressing because my pants are literally falling off of my behind so I know I'm still losing! Got a busy day today with the kiddos baseball games but I'm gonna try to get in some walking, hopefully 1.5-2 miles.

              I hope you are all having a good day today and enjoy the weekend!

                Hi every one,

                I hope every one is enjoying there weekend. Im doing great on track no cheating but not eating enough. I get so busy I forget to eat and find I only ate once or twice a day. Ahhhh... so need to get better with that as I know I wont lose. Still doing good with no diet coke. =)

                    Morning Everyone!
                    Just a quick check in.
                    At 191 for the second day in a row (actually 190.8 ~ so a hit at 190!!) so I'm very happy. Forward progress... or should I saw downward?!
                    Lots to do this weekend... I'm painting some walls, exploring a few antique/second-hand stores, getting some of my design-class homework done and writing a few posts for my interior design/remodeling blog. Lots of stuff... but it's fun!
                    But right now I'm on my way over to the celebration forum to see what's up with Ev!
