    Hello Everyone,

    It's my "Monday" today - yesterday was a holiday here in Canada so today I'm back to work after a relaxing 3 days off. Yuck!! Maybe if I liked my job... if I wasn't bored by it... then I wouldn't dred Mondays (or Tuesdays, as it happens)!

    Sitting firmly at 190/191. Looking forward to seeing a 18(any #) on the scale soon!

    Kelly ~ Happy Birthday! When I was 20 I weighed about 118 - if I was 129 today I'd be over the moon!! Not sure if I'll ever see that weight again. I hear you about the pounds gained and lost over the years - I've had lots of those too. BUT... 10 pounds over what you were at 20 regardless of how you got thre is FANTASTIC. Own it!! One day soon you'll be telling us that you weigh less then you did at 20!! Haha!

    Ever ~ Congrats on a few more pounds down! You're donig really, really well!!

    Becki ~ I so hope you can get this water pill thing worked out! I know it can be a challenge, but stay positive... we're here for you!

    Bright ~ It's great that you have a plan and that you're committed! You can do it!!

    Julie ~ I wish we had some of that great weather you're having (or a little of what Eva's having in N.California, but not too much... dang that's hot!!)... it was downright chilly this morning and I wished I'd brought gloves for my trek to work! Any chances you can get DH to give your back a massage? Take good care!

    Focus83 ~ I'm a scale watcher but lately the scale has been calling out to me less. I don't generally let the scale dictate my mood or anything... but I love the feeling I get when I have the following conversation in my head: "Should I quickly weigh myself this morning? Nah. I'll do it tomorrow!" The scale doesn't control me!! Well... not too much anyway Good for you for setting it aside, though!

    Focused ~ Unsweetened green tea is great! It's also great that you're noticing what triggers your eating. Good for you!

    Christy ~ Looking forward to reading your weigh-in report tomorrow!

    Kmrsail ~ Way to stay on plan... keep it up!


    Okay... I've procrastinated enough... I'd better get back to work.

      Hey folks, hope you don't mind me stopping by. I've been arond the forums for a while and was recommended (forgot by whom ) to stop by teh STAC forum. Well, here I am. I'm hoping to stay in touch this time.
      Here's where I'm at. I started around March 13 (mind you, this is my 3-4 time on Atkins, 1st time around the best - lost 30 lbs) and am about 2 months into it. I started at 213 and weighed in at 195 today. You have no idea how it feels again. About a week ago, I pulled out all the old clothes that I couldn't get rid of. Things fit again, and I feel great. My wife and I are about to head out on our first cruise to Alaska, so I will be tempted with food. But no worries, I am in a good place right now and food is not an issue. My wife has commented me on my persistance and even someone at work asked me the other day if I had "lost a few pounds." DAMN RIGHT!!!
      Anyway, enough about me, I'd just like to check in every now and again and stay in the game. Take care.

            Late check in ladies and gents, but I'm still going strong today. Just got back from the gym and a killer leg day, I'm gonna be sore in the morning.

            Took out the atkins bars and sugar free jello from my diet, those atkin's bars are actually pretty good, but I'll get over it.

            Hope everyone had a good day.

            Oh and happy b-day to the person above, and grats on be 10 pounds away from what you were when you were 20.
