    Good morning, fellow STACer's!! Starting the morning with the belief that I can catch up at work today!! UGH!! Yesterday was horrible and hoping to get lots done today to get caught up! Have a great, on plan day!!

    Good morning STACer's~~make this the best day you can! Feeling good & have 3 days cheat free under my belt. In ketosis & the scale is going down!! Have my lunch packed for work & my H20 bottles filled.

      Gotta love ketosis, I feel like I had a brush with it last night. No keto sticks in the house and yet I know the signs of the buzz.
      I was buzzed for certain yesterday on Green Tea, if it gives a buzz, it's what I added to about 64 oz of my water, and man I had the best day.
      Down 8lbs from this working out schedule I'm keeping. Ventured to the scale for the first time. My fat loss monitor should arrive soon.

      Body composition, the percentage of fat and lean muscle is so much more important the pounds lost. I'm sure most of mine is water weight at this point.
      I've been reflecting on being sedentary and life on the couch at 235 pounds and now, almost 3 years into a very active, fit lifestyle. Nothing compares.
      Early in my Atkins journey I struggled to get to one half hour of exercise. The second year, I exercised but not intensely and I was afraid of pain, this year, I push it into the pain zone with weight and aerobically constantly. Pain no longer scares me.
      It's a new phase of my long winding road journey and I am there with it.

      Keep your focus, keep working at it, right where you are, and it will take you to new places.

            You plug in the numbers they ask for and you hold it out at arms length, and it sends a current through your body and based on how long it takes to get all the way through gives you your Body Fat percentage. All the health clubs use it.

            I want to lower my body fat, build lean muscle and do endurance sport. Body fat percentage is far more important to me than what the scales say. Having less body fat and alot more lean muscle will change my metabolism. Muscle burns calories, fat is inactive material.
            I've lowered my 2% since I started. I wanted my own for future clients.
            I am going to teach my clients how to lower their body fat, and be healthy.
            I never used one of these until this past week. All part of the fitness Gym world.

              Hi !! Checking in this Tuesday morning, and have finally gotten a little break. I spend most of my days at the nursing home with Dad and going to Mom's. So, I am not finding the time to get my exercise in or eat as much as I should. I'm maintaining, but still have 21 more pounds to lose. There is a track across from the nursing home, and I've made up my mind to start using it while Mom is with Dad.

                hey everyone!! im here!! day 16 and still going strong, fridge is almost empty at home so need to stock up good tonight so am not tempted to cheat one bit. Still need to work on the exercising but the water drinking is good. have had over 5 pints already =D

                    Happy Tuesday STAC'ers!

                    Yesterday was pretty good. I managed to get my plants planted and the tree (ouch those needles poked me). Emily and I went to see Teriminator.

                    For dinner I made a disaster of beef meatballs in curry only I screwed it up royally. Now I have a lot of meatballs that taste pretty gross. They will be tossed out today.

                    Jess I love green tea. It does have a little caffene but the difference is that is a longer lasting caffene. It stays with you (so you get more for less)... If that makes any sense?

                      Hi Everyone!

                      I'm back from the beach...It was wonderful and relaxing. I got a little color too!

                      Ok, so the truth...

                      I was OP about 85% of the time Thurs-Mon. All my breakfasts (mainly eggs and bacon or sausage) and all my lunches (lettuce wrap sandwiches...OH MY GOSH...I love them more than regular sandwiches) were on point. Most of my dinners were also OP.

                      My cheats were Michelob Ultras (which I sortof knew was going to happen) and one night of pizza (which was NOT planned and left me with TERRIBLE cravings after I scarfed down about FOUR slices) I also did not drink enough water, which is a huge no-no for me.

                      However, I did go to the gym, which I'm pretty proud of. The scale this morning didn't tell too bad of a story...a very small gain which is to be expected.

                      So, I'm here and totally 100% back OP. Can't wait to get home and workout!

                        HOT DOG! (low carb, of course)

                        I got on the scale this morning and saw a 269.8 staring back at me. I'm booking it! I DON'T CARE THAT IT'S NOT MY WEIGH IN DAY!!! This is after a couple of tumultuous weeks with serious workout soreness, prescription water pill changes and some not so great food choices. Oh yeah...I'm booking it cuz I SAID SO!


                        I’ve started my day with a hearty breakfast bowl sans potatoes from Jack in the Box today... 6 grams of carb but great in a pinch! I was starving and have nothing prepped in my kitchen because of the busy weekend. Shame on me! Dinner tonight SHOULD have been chicken cuz I have some defrosted in my fridge, but I just got asked out on a coffee date that is gonna wreck that plan. CRUD! I’ll have to think of something to cook up when I get home that I can store for leftover-lunches for the week. I pulled a bunch of miscellaneous ingredients out of the fridge for lunch...snort...we’ll see how well that works out. LOL I believe my lunch sack includes roasted turkey, sliced cheese, celery (but forgot cream cheese...nice), mayo and some salami. Maybe I'll go out for lunch. LOL

                        Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be more prepared for this week!

                        I had two AMAZING workouts this weekend. One was with my trainer...who I told I had no pain from our first workout...so she stepped it up ten notches. I think I’m in love. Sunday morning I woke up and could hardly roll over in bed...felt every freakin muscle in my abdomen. FABULOUS! I went to the gym and did laps in the pool...I have no idea how long but I think 20 minutes worth...coulda been more. I can’t wait to go back. I’m extremely proud of the work I did this weekend. I’m so happy to find things that actually WORK for me! I was supposed to work out again tonight with the trainer, but forgot that I had a conflicting physical therapy appointment. My next appointment is set for Friday night! I gotta get in there between now and then and get some cardio in. I’m so pumped right now!

                        Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

                          Just checking in quickly to let you all know I'm still here! Scale was up 3# this am but I'm blaming it on close to TOM, I hope anyway.

                          Been on plan, but kinda been slacking on the water. *not good* Heading to the store sometime today to pick up some meats, veggies, and WATER, then out for the kiddo's baseball games.

                          I had to go get my textbooks today and stopped for a low carb burger (no ketchup)from Hardees, I had forgotten how yummy those things were!

                            gotta jump on the exercise train... My mini-goal is 155. When I get there I think I'll be comfortable enough to start exercising without fearing a stall.
