    Good morning, STACer's!! Hope you're all doing well and on plan!

    It's Tuesday but will feel just like Monday at work! It's a nightmare that won't end. It's the busy season and I'm just hoping I can hold my breath for awhile longer.

    Doing well other than the constant blood sugar crashes. If anyone has any advice on how to prevent this, please let me know. I posted about it in the STAC forum but have only received a response from Sandy.

    My sleep pattern is messed up again. Hopefully, some tough exercise and trying to stay up late one night can get me back on track. Have a great day, everyone!!!

    I'm on plan. I received my Leslie Sansone's 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk DVD yesterday. I did 2 of the 5 miles. It was great!
    Gotta mow the grass before the rain hits....Have a great day everyone!!

    Everlosing- I misplaced my Atkins book. If you can have nuts in your OWL level, I would suggest it. It's what I used in skinnier days when I was running. Hope your blood crashes clear up soon.

      This is generally the only thread I read, Ev. If I venture out, I end up ticked off at the hateful tone of a couple of the mods around here. Don't need to be ticked off. But I'll go check it out.

      We have some people missing. Where's proud and peaceful? Hello????????

          Well, FH and I got up this morning at 5am and went for a jog before work. It got the day off to a great start!

          EverLosing - I don't have any suggestions about your blood sugar, but I hope you get it all worked out soon. Maybe if you call your doctor and explain your symptoms s/he will be able to see you sooner or give you some advice.

          BurnFat - WTG on the 2 miles! Keep it up!

          That run this morning made me pretty hungry...time to go think about what to have for lunch.

            I'm here (again). Just finished breakfast -- scrambled eggs and leftover rib eye steak.

            I really MUST make it this time -- gotta get through week 1 -- I know this plan works and I know I'll feel energized in a few days -- GOTTA DO IT!!!

            I'm tired of looking like a frumpy old woman -- the extra weight adds years to my face.

            Looking forward to a low carb day!

              I'm here...sick with a cold, struggling with food, struggling with stress at work, struggling with sister's stress at work...it's a tough time. I'd write more, but I gotta get back to work.

              Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

                Checking in. I've been away for awhile... off on a job.

                I'm stalled around the 249-252 range. But I'm not upset. I survived an absolutely insane schedule and managed to avoid the craft service goodies. I wasn't even tempted. Well that's not true... I was tempted once, but I walked away!

                I have 2 weeks off before my next gig. So I plan on watching what I'm eating so I can figure out exactly how many carbs a day I've been consuming. I'm thinking I need to come off extended induction and go to OWL. I don't want my body to get too used to 20g carbs a day.

                I don't know how I'll survive the next job, I'll be flying to the east coast twice and will have extended hotel stays w/o a kitchen or a fabulous husband to help me stay on track. All that paired with 12-15 hour work days. Ugh.

                On the bright side, it will only last a month...

                  Good Morning STAC. I just got back from a 1 hour hike. I got up eraly due to the Canadian Geese landing in my back yard and making a racket. At any rate I feel much better today. I made the peanut butter whey protein cookies last night and vegi soup (with Taco fixing's) for dinner.

                  I have lots of work to do today and I am going out again this afternoon. The sun decided to come back and visit us. My grass is now ready to be mowed for the first time this season.

                  Ev are you taking the supplements? You might check out the threads about L Glutamin or talk to Sherri (sp) about that. I would suspect that you are not getting enough of that particular one. Sorry I missed it before. I don't read all of the post and some days I only long in here.

                  Burn is right- the nuts should help if you can tolerate them. Burn I need to get some videos- do you walk in place or load it on your ipod and go for a walk? I am trying to under stand the walk video? Help me please.

                    I'm here! And as of yesterday I've been here for two years! Wow!! I hope all are well today and enjoying some beautiful summer sunshine!

                    My goal for right now is to exercise more. I know I need to but it is hard to make myself do it! I'm really going to push myself this week!

                      Hi, all! I'm here this evening to check in! Sorry I haven't been on here lately, just haven't had the time. I seem to be stalled at 166! So, I think I am going back to induction to see if I can kick it. I haven't been able to eat very often lately, and it seems that I lose better when I eat 6 small meals a day. Trying to get my exercise in, some walking, but not enough! How do people handle this WOE if they don't have a lot of time? At least I'm not gaining!

                        It's my Wednesday morning over here, but checking in for Tuesday.

                        Clocked in at 66.5 kgs yesterday, but am back up to 67 kgs today. Goal for the week is to average out at 67, so I think I'm on target for that.

                            Hi Alaska Girl,
                            The DVD has you walking, marching, jogging, kicking, sidestepping , etc in a small area of the floor inside. There are Audio music for your Ipod that you would take walking outside based on certain tempo or speed. Which ever you choose, Enjoy http://CollageVideo.com
