I've been doing this for 8 days now! It has sure been tough. These are things that I have had to pass up...pizza, chocolate cake, enchiladas, and chocolate truffles...all pretty much my FAVORITE food! Which is probably why I am writing on this board anyways. I am 5'6", 20 years old, and I started at 200 pounds last Monday. NOW I weigh 190!!!!!
I did not weigh all week (for my own sanity) and got on the scale Monday morning and found that beautiful surprise! I was so happy, the weight loss has really kept me motivated. This morning I weighed again and I still weigh 190 (lame! because I hardly ate anything at all yesterday!) I think I should stick with weighing once a week. It does not drive me crazy and I can see a much bigger difference when I wait a little longer.
This is my second time on the diet. The first time was when I was teenager, and I got into seriously, GREAT shape (I was also working with a personal trainer who really motivated me), down to 150. However, though the years, I have gained a lot of weight due to a lot of stress (I got married a year ago-that's when I really started gaining weight!) I felt very motivated, yet for the past two days I have felt tired a lot less motivated, just because I am starting to get bored and am really craving carbs!!!! I don't want to stop this though, please, give me any motivation you can that will keep me going on this. Thanks!
