  • Need a boost!

    So I've been doing Atkins for nearly 6 weeks and have lost a total of 21 pounds!!! I lost 15 of that on Induction and the other 6 in the 2 weeks following in extended Induction. For the last week and a half I've kinda been having the daily fluctuations of up a pound down a pound or 2 and then back up. I'm eating clean w/no cheats and I know that the fluctuations are normal. However, I would like to get the ball rolling again!

    To those of you who lose steadily every week, even in small amounts, I would like some tips/advice on how you keep the inferno going! What types of exercise are you doing, and how often? What level of Atkins are you doing? I'm considering moving to OWL rung 1.

    Hi Christy,

    Hang in there! I lost 12 lbs my first month and then month 2 - NOTHING! I kept going, didn't change a thing and month 3 I started to lose 1-1.5 lbs per week! I guess my body just needed time to adjust.

      I have times when i didn't lose any for 4 weeks used to weigh daily and get annoyed well ui started giving up diet sodas and drank water that speeded it up a bit for me and doing some regular exercise even if its twice a week to get results such as an exercise video or longer walks.

        Thanks! I was thinking about increasing my water intake. And I guess I have been slacking on the exercise so I'll try adding extra days to put me at 4-5 days a week exercising.
