  • Day Six and Feeling Strong Despite Being Surrounded By Illegal Foods

Well its my sixth day as you can tell from the title. Yesterday I worked the second time since beginning this way of eating and managed to stay clean and legal without much effort at all. I got home around 11 and didn't make it to bed until 1:30 then I was up and ready to go at 7:30. Last week I would have been dead to the world and not much use today but I've been canning Rhubarb, Strawberry Rhubarb, and Strawberry Jam. And no its not atkins legal but I haven't even been tempted to lick the spoons! We will go berry picking again next friday and I will make a batch of s/f jam that I will be able to eat when I'm to that wrung. But my family loves home made jam and by keeping busy I'm not hungry that much. I did take a break to eat a huge salad but I could not finish it.

I went to the gym for the second time since starting the way of eating and I did really good. I increased my weights and reps by at least 5 lbs. I know for sure I'm going to be sore tomorrow but it will be worth it.

I think bottom line is I'm happy and in a good place. And by place I mean past the induction flu. I feel good and productive, and have bunches of energy. I don't even mind the ketosis breath. Speaking of which if you have never tried those colgate whisps try them. They are like tooth brushes except you don't have to use water and they are really convenient and they work great too. I wish I owned stock in the company because I was told by the sales lady at walmart that they are flying off the shelves. In my opinion they are better the the s/f gum.

Any how everyone have a great day!!!
