    Good morning, STACer's and happy hump day to all of you!

    I can't seem to tackle that first pound of the last 10 lbs. I'm irked but I did say earlier in the week, I'd just be happy if I got through the week with my head attached so I'll have to focus on that. Unless, they do sever my head at work....that would probably take a few pounds off!

    Good morning STACer's. I'm not quite awake yet~~need coffee. Have a great day & drink up. I probably won't have the opportunity to check in for several days as I'll be busy at the Vermont Quilt Festival!

      Good morning everyone! I am on plan, feeling energetic, and loving life again. I just got back from an hour of power aerobics, and I have softball tonight. No problems getting water in, it's been in the mid to upper 90's here lately and crazy humid. We are now wearing a winter weight camoflage uniform, so we are sweating our butts off all day. Whoever came up with this uniform isn't from here.

      Ev, now's the time to really knuckle down. I lost focus 10 lbs from goal and now I'm paying for it. Those last 10 suck. We are all with you though, so go for it.

            Good Morning everyone!

            Well I am on day 3! Day 2 went great! I am so happy with how easy it has been for me his time around...I think a major part of it has been that I am now working at night so that keeps me away from the deadly night cravings!!! I really have to try to get more water in before work. Today I have a meeting and then I'm gonna go grocery shopping and run some errands. I should be a good day. I do not work tonight but I think I'll be ok...I'll make sure I pick up all kinds of legal snacks if I get the urge! I don't want to sabotage myself when I am feeling so great! Well Ahve a good day everyone!!!

                Good Morning Everyone!

                Today is Day 1 for me - about to go have some eggs and start downing the water!

                It's great to have this list to check-in with. The first time I did Atkins I had friends doing it as well so it made it easier - this time I'm solo so I'm looking for inspiration from this group!

                  Happy Humpday STAC'ers

                  I am a little tired again today. Last night was a late night, I returned home from hiking at 8:45 pm.

                  I did manage to get my shopping done yesterday . I picked up 2 nice big beef pot roasts and 2 packages of chicken thighs (on sale). I think that I have plenty of meat for the next couple of weeks. I plan on making herion wings and curry chicken in the near future. With the pot roast I will make beef stroganoff (with left overs, I use mushrooms instead of noodles)- I will also make sheppards pie (with cauliflower mashed) with left overs.

                  I made a great dinner that hubby loved. He actually ate spagetti squash for the first time ever and loved it!

                  1 med spagetti squash (cooked & ready)

                  1/2 cup chopped onion
                  2 Tbsn chopped garlic
                  3 Tbsn olive oil
                  salt & pepper
                  2-3 tsp lemon/lime juice
                  1 small can sliced oilves
                  chopped basil
                  3 med chopped tomoatoes
                  1/3 cup crumbled feta
                  1# shrimp

                  Sautee onions and garlic in olive oil, when it is about done add shrimp. Sautee shrimp. Turn off heat and add feta, basil, tomatoes, lime juice, olives- toss.
                  Plate spagetti squash and top with mixture.

                  Ev- be patient grasshoper. Those last 10 are suppose to be much harder. You can't continue loosing at the high rate for ever- you have so little to loose now.

                  TJ- I am having a hard time staying in induction with you. I am aiming at having 3-4 more days, but my body is craving the extra vegis and nuts and berries that I have been enjoying...... I will stop this foolishness on Sunday- just an FYI

                  OZ have a great time at the quilt festival.

                      Don't know if I need to officially join to roll call everyday. I just joined the board yesterday, although today is my 10th day of induction. I think checking in here everyday will help, so I hope I'm welcome! Last time I did Atkins with my family, and they were smart enough to keep the weight off and live pretty low carb. I, however, did not. So, here I am again.
                      So far, my induction has been much cleaner than the first time. No diet soda. Very few artificial sugars. I have one sugar free jello cup at dinner and one packet in my coffee in the morning.
                      And I guess I need to create a little signature so I can be reminded of my goals every time I post.
                      So, checking in. Day 10.
