I was on Induction for two weeks and lost 14 pounds. Then, this past Monday (four days ago) I decided to move onto OWL and added in nuts and berries. I eat UNDER the recommended daily amount, and I have not lost any weight this week. I don't why, but I am starting to lose motivation and focus. I'm not sure what to do!

which rung of OWL did you move to? Nuts are rung 3 and Berries are rung 4 -- you should have gone to rung 1 and added 5 net carbs of additional veggies daily. You are only suppose to add 1 item from 1 rung at a time - nuts AND berries was probably too much for your system to handle at the same time.Carole_____________________May Water 130oz daily

Oh wow, I didn't know that! I have the book. Where do I find the information about the 'rungs' in the book? When I did Atkins 4 years ago, nuts and berries were added in at the same time. Maybe things have changed since then! Ahh! Well, I am going to stop eating those! Thanks for the info.Starting Weight: 200

4 days with no weight loss is normal, but...
According to DANDR 2002, which is what we go by at ADBB, the first thing you add during OWL are more veggies. OWL is divided into 9 rungs, each with one food group. The first one is veggies, the second one is diary, the third is nuts, the fourth is berries, and so on. The chapter on OWL is number 14 in DANDR 2002, where it explains how this phase should be done correctly.

I do have the 2002 edition, I must have just not read it thoroughly before. I think I need to get rid of the nuts and berries in my diet and add more veggies for now, and then I think I will lose. I actually did lose .4 lbs from yesterday to this morning. Still, I had been experiencing a lot of weight loss in the past two weeks, so this week has been frustrating and stressful because I haven't lost as much.
