    Here and on plan. Finally put a few days on fitday and realized I'm not getting enough calories. 800 calories is far too little, but I'm not hungry. And not sure what to do.

    I don't think I can pump any more meat into my system. I *finished* induction on Monday, but haven't really upped my carbs. During induction, I was right at 23 carbs. I know, a little over, but a dark purple stick, and I can taste it and smell it on my breath.

    Anyway, I'd like to add even more veggies, but that means more carbs. I really feel like at 40 carbs I'll drop out of ketosis. But I know I need more calories, and again, I don't think I can put any more meat in my mouth. Gag.

    Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

      Well today is day 10 still no weight loss but I feel great. between 6-10 day period I was not feeling great at all. Tired and no energy but seems better today. I have a hard time getting all the calories in as I just am not that hungry. Trying harder though and did lose the one pound I had put on which was the only pound I had lost But my size 14 shorts feel better on me today. Not quite as snug. I will get out of this 180's and into the 170's come heck or high water..

        Add Fat!!! It will help you to feel satiated, it makes the food taste great AND it adds calories. How are you eating your veggies? Can you add some butter? What about some added dressing? Maybe some cream cheese. Celery and cream cheese is a favorite of mine now!

        Some people can't get over the notion that "fat is bad", but it's really not. I bet you can find some places to slip it in. Maybe use cheese for some of your carbs, too....loaded in calories, fat and protein!

        Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.
