    Good Morning Everyone..... I am up early because my daughter is working at 6:30 this morning and I would go crawl back in the bed but my husband is snoring..so its not like I will go back to sleep

    Today is weigh day for me and I am down 8lbs 2lbs to go to reach my first goal.

    I still need to figure out something for me to eat at work...I ate Chicken Salad yesterday but that wasn't really satisfying .. I have tried eating lunch meat...had some turkey... But that doesn't really satisfy me either.. Its hard eating a Salad there too.... When I work at 3...I eat a filling meal for lunch...so really need something lighter for dinner...

    Checking in today. Kinda bummed as I have not lost any weight in two days on induction. Started using Sparkpeople yesterday to help keep better track of my carb intake. Hoping for better news tomorrow.

      Good morning Stacer's. Hope you all have a wonderful day. It is sunny here so I'll get out for a walk. Maybe Summer has finally arrived! Don't forget to drink your H20.

      Sandy congrats on the 8# loss! Have you explored Linda's site to look for something that may interest you for lunch?

      bubbantinkerbell don't get discouraged! Dr. Atkins strongly urges people not to weigh in until the end of their 2 weeks of Induction. Just a thought!

        Congrats Sandy on the 8lbs!, that is good news.

        Im here and still on plan, i got leftovers for my dinner tonight and im going to make another cheese Taco, i cant wait, they are sooo good.

        Bubbantinkerbell, i didnt weigh myself during my 14 day induction, as i know weight will fluctuate from day to day, and hour to hour. Once i knew i was in ketosis i just stuck to plan and counted down the days to weigh in day. I think you get a much more accurate picture of weightloss if you do it that way, keep at it and Good Luck! x

          I have looked at her site...and bought stuff for some new recipes this week..Like a BLT Salad that was just okay yesterday.. I like to eat Hot food for my meals...so not really not into cold stuff.. I would rather have a Hamburger and broccoli...but don't have time to heat that sort of thing up... I wish we had a microwave at work closer to us..but its all the way across the street and when I am by myself I can't use it

            Hi Sandy, I made some funny little roll up sandwiches for a bag lunch and they were pretty satisfying served with my usual salad. I took the lettuce leaves, turkey, cream cheese, and bell pepper slices and wrapped them up burrito style. I used mayo and salt and pepper and it was actually a pretty tasty lunch. You could probably use more interesting cheese, but I used what was in the fridge. I have wrapped up just the lunch meat and cheeses before and my husband and kids snack on them too. The lettuce just seemed to make this lunch a little more substantial.

              219 this morning. Under 220 finally. We will have to see if it sticks for tomorrow, that is if I am still under 220

                Hi all. Day 4 here.
                Made the mashed potato substitute (cauliflower all mashed up with a little cheese and butter) and loved it.

                Gonna check for ketosis tomorrow.

                  Hey everyone, I'm here too on track... just checking in. Doing a long stretch of working so not much time to get on the computer. Having a quiet moment which won't last long. That would be tough to go everyday to work with out a way to heat up food! You should definately look in to a cheap one at Walmart like Glenda suggested!

                  I took a niacin today and got a huge reaction in the am then again this afternoon. It was a slow release one so I got red all over twice today! lol.

                    Thanks for the idea...I wrote it down.. When grocery shopping this past week...I thought...Hmm Maybe I should buy me some fancy cheese meaning instead of Kraft American get me some provolone or something like that..but it was expensive so I didn't.. Hubby just got some red, and yellow peppers out of the garden for me yesterday
