    Good morning to all,

    So I am stuck at 220.8. I can't seem to break through to under 220. So I always here about how one needs to drink plenty of water, I am going to make it my goal to gorge my self on water today and see what happens tomorrow.

    Here and on plan. Fighting off the convience cravings and tired of cooking, but staying on track and doing lots of excersise.

    Gxi: Hope you get your wish and the scale is under 220 tomorrow, but maybe if you didn't weigh yourself everyday it would be a much better surprise to surpass the 220 and get to 219... Just a thought from one scale watcher to another.

      I know I shouldn't weigh my self everyday, but I is just so dang tempting.

      Maybe once I am back from Vegas I will try and weigh my self only every other day, then I can continue to back it down from there. I am even so anal I weigh my self before I go to bed, so I can see how much I lose per night. It is usually about a 1-1/2 lb.

        Goodmorning STAC..Well this is day 4 and I feel good. Still no color on that ketostix but I do feel so much better anyway.
        For breakfast i had a mock Danish with another ½oz of cream cheese with Waldens blueberry jelly on top of it. No real fruit in that but oh sooooo good. 0 carbs,o sugar...gotta love the Walden brands.
        I made the bacon cheese burger Quiche http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...er-quiche.html last night instead of meatloaf(couldn't find that meatloaf recipe made with the bacon rinds)Oh my goodness that quiche was so good my hubby had two pieces of it. I baked mine in a 8x9 pan and cut it into 9 pieces so it was only 1 carb per serving. lots left for today and tomorrow.
        Well getting ready for my walk, another 15000 steps yesterday..Trying to make sure I get at least my 10000 steps in every day.

          Good Morning everyone. I dont know how many times i have dropped by the boards to say, "I'm back" but here I am.

          I started induction last Friday the tenth...and I am happy to report a 13 lb. loss thus far. I understand that it is all water weight, but I am starting to feel so much better.

          I stepped on the scale this morning and it is at 230 - I have a long way to go to be at goal - but I am on my way.

          One of the girls at work went on a diet challange with me so that helps too.

              Hi all. Day 8. I lost 3 lbs the 1st few days and now have gained one back. I made a few mistakes with thinking soy sauce was ok and have cut it out. Also didn't drink all the water I need to the last two days. I am in ketosis but haven't lost in 4 days and gained 1 lbs back. So tempted to go off induction for a few days and recommit next week, but am recommitting today instead. I get all perfectionistic on myself and discouraged about it being day 8 for me and only down 2lbs. And, somewhere I got it in my head that it is better to go off induction for a day or two (eat non veggie carbs) and restart for maximum loss rather than just refocus while on it. I would appreciate feedback on this thought. I am new to this role call thing and hope this is the place to ask for that. Just so you all know, I tend to lose very slowly on atkins since my non atkins diet is also sugar, fruit, and pasta free. Atkins is only a slight change from my non atkins diet where I add in carb'ed sf items, sushi, and chips.
              Putting it all out there for support. I have committed to atkins for years at a time in the past, but also have yoyo'ed with induction in the past. I tend to plateau for very long periods of time as well.
              I just want to do it the best way this time and get off to the best start.
              If that means going off today and recommitting tomorrow cool.
              If it means refocusing without going off cool also.

                Checking in!

                Yesterday was TOUGH with my kids waving b-day cake under my nose but I didn't take a bite!!!

                Today is going well. I planned ahead again for lunch & dinner so I'm good on food. I can not wait to weigh on Monday. I can tell I've lost. My pants are so much looser! YEAH. Actually, I've had a few people comment this week that they noticed I'm loosing so that's nice to hear that my losses are to the point of being noticed.

                Willpower is strong again today. Feeling very motivated.

                  Well I am back after having to break down and buy size 12 shorts yesterday. I am so mad at myself. I know what I need to do. I just have to do it. So I was reading some of the messages in the forums and came to the conclusion that I am a sugar addict and will have to be one of those people who completely give it up, even the fake sugar. So I drank down my last can of diet soda yesterday and said goodbye to coffee with my powdered coffeemate.

                  I am at a point right now where I have to "get real" with myself. No I can't have the diet coke and no I can't have coffee with a little creamer in it. So now I have to focus on the things that I can have and go from there.

                    Still on plan, but having cravings for something ( i dont quite know what exactly) its TOM for me, i never show a loss at this time of the month either. So im doing my best to stay strong and focused. I have a wedding to go to on saturday, which im looking at as a challenge, its a greek wedding so there should be meats and salad on the menu.

                      Had a rather boring day in bed resting as I am still ill but no worries doctors orders were to rest till friday so I can be up and about on the weekend.Have a nice day all.
