    Good morning everybody!!

    I hit my next mini goal of 150 this morning. I am now officially halfway to my goal weight, and being 30 pounds overweight is worlds better than being 61 pounds overweight, so I feel like I have made a lot of progress since I started on this journey!

    Judy-Way to hit your mini goal. It is much easier to break it up in little pieces and attack it that way.

    I am at a new low today 211.4. I should be able to hit my goal of 210 by the end of the month if I keep at it.

      Yeah, Congrats Judy. I have been out of ketosis for a couple days, but finally got back into it. My little victory of the day. Now I can pick back up on rung 4 and not have to worry about induction. Whew.

      1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
      what the rungs mean to me:
      rung 1 - more veggies
      rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
      rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
      rung 4 - berries, melon
      rung 5 - wine -
      rung 6 - beans, hummus
      rung 7 - other fruits
      rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
      rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
      Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
      (on to pre-maintenance)

        On day 2 of induction. Going to stick to the plan, and not waver. Hoping to hit ketosis by the end of the day!

            Hot & humid today. Lots of frustrating stuff going on with me on the work injury front & finding a new position. Last night I was going to make myself a sandwich & put the bread back. I'm not going to let this frustration derail me.

                      Hoping to see some downward movement on the scale, but only a few ounces. 185.1 today. ah well. better than upward movement.

                            Way to go Judy on your loss!!!!!
                            Today I was with my son and we went to 5 guys,
                            where they serve fresh hamburgers, they were so good.
                            Of course I tossed the rolls.
                            But Jess got cajun fries and they smelled so good, that I had justa tiny, tiny taste,
                            barely a bite and it set off a big craving.
                            But I was good, and didnt cave in to it.
                            Next time I wont even sample stuff, i shouldnt.
