    Good morning STACer's.

    I'm off to the park to play with the kidlets. Will walk later this afternoon or early evening with DH. Have a few house chores to do & a trip to the grocery store is needed.

    I'm still here, on day 4 of induction with 4 pounds gone. I'm struggling a little, not with the way of eating, just not feeling well in general. I had just gotten over a stomache virus before starting, and know my potassium level was down (I have a hard time keeping it up due to taking hydrochlorothiazide diuretic), then came down with a cold on Friday and think I have a touch of induction flu but with everything else going on in my body its hard to tell.

    I'm going a teeny bit over my 20 carbs, but its the only way I can find to keep my potassium up (my fitday is only showing I'm getting between 1500-2500 of the 4700 RDA). So I've been having a low sodium v-8 juice with a quarter teaspoon of No Salt (650 mgs of potassium) in addition to my veggies. It doesn't seem to be hurting my weight loss and I'm feeling a tiny bit better each day. Once I feel like my potassium reserves are back up, I'll give up that daily v-8, but in the mean time it doesn't seem to be hurting but does seem to be helping.

    Not feeling up to exercise quite yet, but I am doing some light house work today, laundry, sweeping the floors and general pickup. I might get out to the pool later today if the weather holds up.

          Hi, everyone! It's been a little over a month since I was on here last, so I thought I would just check in and see how everyone was doing. I know I need to get on here more, but can't seem to find the time. Too much going on! I am still sticking to plan mostly, eating around 65 carbs a day, and still maintaining. I am 10 pounds from goal now, and I do believe it is the hardest part of losing. Anyone have any ideas? Should I cut back on my carbs a little to make it go? Actually, I feel good, and look good at the weight I am now, but I would like to lose to goal. I have gone from a size 20 to a 12, and the 12 is loose. When I was in high school, I wore a 10. It's funny because when I was in high school, I weighed 115 to 120 pounds and wore that size. Now, I only want to get to 145 and WILL wear that size. Wow!! This is amazing to me!! All the newbies, this really works! I am never, ever hungry anymore. I eat constantly, every so often something sweet, just not out of my carb amount. Maybe if I would stay away from what little sugar I do eat, then the last 10 pounds would go!! You reckon??? So, good luck, and know that you can do this!!
