  • Second time around...kinda

So I haven't been around these boards in a long time...a bit over a year actually.
I'm not even sure you could call this my second time around as I didn't really go off Aktins, just stopped counting carbs but stuck to the foods and gained 6 kg with that :/
Well, now I'm back...counting carbs again, losing again.
I could kick myself for ever stopping to watch my carb count but well, I started studying from home next to my fulltime job and at the end of last year I discovered that my savings account held enough money to get a nice wedding...so the wedding planning started...tripple stress...argh.
I think that's when I really lost sight of my goal...
Anyway, the wedding was end of June...great day, quite perfect in fact and I loved myself in my dress even with the few kilo's gained.
Now that all that dust has settled, vacation time is over and I finally stepped onto the scale again, I realized that I needed to get back on track.
So here I am on induction level carbs but not foods (not completely anyway as I figured out my problem foods a long time ago).
Started counting again a week ago and 1,1 kg are gone again, more to come.

Eh...yes, enouhg bla bla, this is my second time around...kinda.

Let's hope I find more time for the boards again.

    Oh, and hi!
Date to reach goal: I don't care, as long as it happens :P

Good thing you went back to counting carbs before things got badly out of hand. Welcome back to ADBB!

Good luck after losing alomst a 90 pounds I quit smoking 3 weeks ago and found myself addicted to junk food again and in 2 weeks gained 20 pounds.
I don't know which is worse the tobacco or food?

It's tobacco. More poisonous and deadlier than sugar. I have been taking Chantix for the past 3 weeks and am currently smoke free for the past 6 days. I have been quite careful with my food intake and even so have gained 8 pounds during this time. I think it is just my body/metabolism adjusting to being smoke free and I am trying not to let it stress me out. It will come back off.

Get rid of the junk food, get some Atkins legal snacks and your water. Look yourself straight in the face every morning in the mirror and say out loud how strong you are to have broken your addiction to smoking.
