    Still working on my 230 mini goal - but got up today and did my abs/squats - so a good start. Have a great Tuesday.

      Good morning,

      215.6 this morning. I have been having some motivation problem since I have got back from my honeymoon. I was doing so good before the wedding. Grant it I am only 5 lbs over what I was, but it just sucks having to try and get back down to that. I need some type of challange or something to strive for, something with a tangiable date.

      I think that part of my problem is that I weigh my self everyday, so either everyday is good (lost weight), or semi bad because I am at the same weight or up a little.

      K, from now on I will only weigh my self every Tuesday. It is going to be hard not to have that little cheat and step on the scale.

      I think that I just need to quit feeling sorry for myself and just suck it up and eat right with no cheats.

      So my next weigh in won't be until September 29th. I just want so desperatly to be under 200.

          Good morning everyone.
          I have to say that yesterday was a good day for me. I had no cheats and felt for the most part pretty good. The rings on my fingers are starting to get a little loose. The dr was telling me I should take my wedding ring off for a while in case it needed to be cut off. But looking better...maybe I can put the other band on in a few weeks. That would be nice.
          Still having issues with the shoes, I feel like those chinese women that have to have their feet bound. Ouch.
          It is a nice feeling when you are not starving all of the time.
          Had a great lunch yesterday... Green beans, onions and chicken breast. Yum.

              Morning all!

              I survived the night with fresh baked brownies and didn't have a single crumb. I think for that I deserve a treat today and will ready during my lunch break instead of go for a walk (plus its rainy and nasty out anyway).

              Starting to get rid of that excess weight that suddenly piled on over the weekend for no reason. Very odd, but glad to be back under my minigoal again.

              Here's to not eating those brownies while at work!

                  shaunawa - That's one of my goals - to get my wedding rings off, before they have to cut them off...I haven't been able to take them off in about 10 years!

                          Good morning/afternoon! I tried Pumpkin last night and have found my new best friend. I had only eaten it in pie before. So having it cooked fresh with real butter, salt, and pepper was different but very yummy and very 'fall feeling'.

                          I also took my cup home from work, the one I drink water from all day, and measured how much water it holds, it is 16 ounces instead of 12 ounces...so I have been drinking close to 200 ounces of water a day. I even wake up at night thirsty.

                          The scale was the same for me to day, which is a good sign, since I was down yesterday, I would normally go back up a pound or two today, but I didn't...hopefully that means I am fully into ketosis and the weight will start melting away.

                            Hello everyone! I don't know if this is where to start in the STAC but I'm gonna start here LOL I am new to ADBB but this is my STA on Atkins. This is my 3rd day of induction and so far so good No cheats, I've had 30 oz. of water this morning and plan on drinking at least 40 more today. Last time I was on Atkins I felt extremely sluggish the first 3 days, but for some reason this time around I don't feel as sluggish. Maybe because I don't have a choice but to get up run errands and take my 4 yr old to her classes today. I can't wait until Sunday to weigh in. I went to the store to buy a scale for my house, but they were sold out (what does that tell you about our society LOL) so i decided to just weigh in every Sunday at the gym (which I'm fortunate enough to have down the street from me here on base) so that way I don't obsess over the scale and weigh myself every chance I get. All your stories motivate me so much and I wish I would have found ADBB the first time around. Have a great day everyone. I'm off to go make my lunch
