    Good morning to all,

    So how did the month of September go for you all? I am down 1 lb for the month. I guess I will take that as a victory considering I had my wedding and honeymoon, which I did not stay lc at all. I mean come on we had 3 different flavors of wedding cake, I had to try them all.

    So what is everyones goal for the month of October?

    I want to be under 205. I am also doing the 6 week exercise challange which starts Sunday 10/4 (5 days of exercise a week). That would be good for you to join if you need that extra motivation to kick it up a gear.

    Last night I ran 2 miles in 18:45, and I only walked twice. Hopefully next time I can get a lower time and not walk at all. Also I am working out tonight.

    And I weighed in today 211.6.

    well, big congrats on the wedding - how exciting. I just celebrated my 24th wedding anniversary this week - and I still like him [and I think he still likes me ].

    September was GREAT! I'm down 7 lbs as of today, that is just so exciting. I had a really hard time with these dam* 230's, been struggling with them since June, but since I became active on this forum, it was able to get them off pretty easy.

    I was considering doing the 6 week - am already doing a water, squat and ab challenge, plus climbing a mountain so not sure I should join another - but I still may do it. Bought a Wii a while ago and really need to get back on it!

      Congrats on you wedding!! Wow.. how fun!!!!

      I have several goals for the month of Oct.
      1 – Induction for the whole month
      2 – the water challenge - I said I would drink 120 oz a day
      3 – wt train 5 days a week
      4 – burn 500 cal 5 or 6 days a week

      I hope to be down to 190 by end of Oct…

      Right now my weight is 199

          I just finished week 1 (induction) and lost 2lbs. I did fall off the wagon last night--why I don't know but I've jumped back on. I love this board and hearing about people's successes--it makes me realize that you can get right back on the wagon. This month I will work on:
          • Continuing Induction (I'm still trying to read the book)
          • Increase my knowledge and skills of my new way of eating while traveling (I am a heavy traveler--on and off flights throughout the week and eating with customers)
          • Getting my required water intake
          • Introducing exercise in my life (whoever is running--how did you start? I would love to get that into my life but without injurying myself or setting myself up for failure).

            hello, my goals for this month is to make it thur my grannys surprise 80th bday party and my families annual hay ride cheat free. It will be tough but with some planning I should have it whipped.

              Tiggy - there are lots of exercise challenges out on the forum, many starting tomorrow and plenty of ongoing ones.

                I'm here! September was a good month, lost a total of 14 pounds during my 4 weeks of induction. Sticking with Induction through October and my goal it to be cheat free the entire month. I also want to sign up with one of those exercise challenges, but not sure which one

                November 1st I have an appointment at David's Bridal to try on my wedding dress again and see if I can get into the next size. I am dedicated to this WOL more seriously than I ever have been and I promised myself that if I can fit into a 16 I will have them exchange it for a 14. I then have until May 1st and two additional sizes. So, the goal is to be a sweet 10 by my wedding on May 1st. I haven't been in a 10 since I was 12 years old. Sad but true.

                  Hi everyone!

                  Hi gxi, Congratulations on your marriage. (i would have ate my cake too! ) Congrats on losing the 1 pound too. September went wonderful for me. I seriously started on the 10th.

                  I'm in the October water drinking challenge.

                  I did perfect with eating yesterday and today.
                  In October, I will:
                  continue with walking and treadmill.
                  Lots of housework
                  harvest apples
                  read DANDR every day.
                  Plan ahead with grocery shopping
                  Try new recipes each week
