  • The Good and the Bad...

The Bad news is I fell off the wagon and gained too much weight back....
The Good news is I'M BACK
!! I am much too young (55 yrs) to give up, and have been blessed with such good health. I hate that I compromise my health every day that I don't get my weight under control.
So I'm working hard at clearing my cabinets of all the temptations I can't say NO to. My plan is to have it done by Sunday to enable me to start a serious induction on Monday.

Why Sunday? Are you tossing it or using it up? I would toss it all. Why gain an extra 5 to have to lose it again.

Re: The Good and the Bad...

Thanks Jill and Shauna for your concern. I set Monday as the date because of prior commitments this weekend, ie: big dinner party I was holding Saturday with apple pies, and making and canning many gallons of apple cider and apple butter on Sunday. (can you tell I live in apple country?)
Unfortunately or fortunately, depending how you look at it, if you get temptation out of reach, I can almost stay on a low carb WOE in my sleep...lots of practice.
But I do need to have the right foods available, and couldn't make the 45 mile drive to the store until Monday.
But don't worry, I'll be asking for lots of emotional support, especially during withdrawals. So far, the first day went great!
