I was just wondering if anyone has tried the Metamucil Fiber Wafers. They come in Apple or Cinnamon. I just tried the apple and they're delicious. Thought I'd give them a shot on some days when I didn't squeeze in enough greens. Anyone have an opinion about them?

I've never seen them. What are the ingredients? I usually just take the capsules.

Check the list of ingredients. If we are talking about the same product, the wafers contain wheat flour, brown sugar, fructose, corn starch, molasses and oats.Originally posted by BarbinVA View PostI was just wondering if anyone has tried the Metamucil Fiber Wafers. Definitely off limits with all that sugar and flour in them--
flax seed meal and/or Metamucil powder (or other psyllium husks) or capsules are your better bet. Those bars are definitely not allowed on Atkins until OWL 9 if then.

Just to update....I REALLY like the taste of these, but won't buy them again. The thing is, they really are not effective as fiber...didn't help at all. I'd say not worth it....sticking with veggies and water!
