3rd time around...getting married in 8 months!

I'm so sick of re-starting, which means I just don't quit this time! Tonight I came across pictures of myself from the first time I was on the Atkins lifestyle (and the only time I ever really followed the plan for more than a week). I was HOT! I looked so confident and energized. It saddens me how long it's been since I felt that way. After a YEAR of trying to lose weight with smaller portions, "healthy" foods, and exercise...I know this is the only thing that will ever work for me and it's time to make it my forever lifestyle. I am 26 years old and about 40lbs overweight. I'm getting married in 8 months and (of course) want to look and feel my best. I also want to be prepared to teach my future children by example so they will never go through the struggles with weight I've been through, and make sure I'm around for a long long time to share many wonderful years with my FH. Tomorrow is Day 1 of Induction and I can use all the support I can get. I'm over to the food section to plan out my 14 day menu. Here I go!

Hi, it's my third time around as well. I am loving feeling better again and all this energy. I am getting a lot done around the house. Congratulations for getting back on board with Atkins and coming here for support. Oh, and Congratulations on your engagement. Babs

Thanks for the congratulations and the welcome. It's good to be back, although it's gotten a lot more quiet around here. What's the deal with that?

Day 3 here and I have induction flu like none other. It gets worse for me each time around, but I know in a few days I'll feel better and my energy levels will skyrocket. Can't wait!

Fun fact: My best friend growing up was Barbie and I called her Babs. Small world.

You can do it! I looked around for a >2 Timer's Club, but I couldn't find one. So, I will slip in here with ya'll if you don't mind.

I have lost count which time this is... but I know this, it's the FINAL time.

Just as Kagi has said forget how many times you are restarting make this your final time doing the diet and final time your going to do something about your weight loss.
Once your 100% commited theres no stopping you.I tried many diets and would put the weight back on after a while but this time I was so set found it really hard it took me a year but I stuck to my word and lost over 100lb in a year.We should control our lives and on this diet we have the power to control our weight.All the best,be successful make this the year you finally sort the weight problem and continue it through next year.Just picture yourself in the wedding dress you like slimmer have that image in mind that will spur you along and will help you from temptations.
