  • STAC Roll Call ~ Monday 11/9/9

    Here and back on plan after a slip this weekend. I think I've just had too much going on and needed a break, so I decided to have a couple of beers this weekend. After drinking the beers my stomach felt kind of funny so I wanted some food on it before going to bed, so what did I grab? A bag of chips, I felt like I needed something to absorb the liquid. But I stopped at a handful, went to bed and am back on plan this morning. I don't know why I do that, it was the first bit of alcohol I've had in 7 weeks and my first Atkins slip in over 5 weeks.
    1st Goal ~ 199 Onderland -Met 3/29/10
    2nd Goal ~ 174 No longer obese
    3rd Goal ~ 150 In the home stretch
    Final Goal ~ 145 or below (I'll know when I get there) No longer overweight

    Current Mini Goals:
    1) 35 pounds lost
    2) 40 pounds lost to move to Rung 5
    3) 45 pounds lost to update 15 pound loss picture series

    I'm here and back on plan.

    I thought that I could go off of the plan because I had done so well. Turns out that I am still a carb-oholic. Oh well, today is a new day. No reason to stay mad at myself.

    I am officially restarting at a weight of 220.8 (ughh that make me mad).
    GOAL #1-220 lbs Completed 03/27/10
    GOAL #2-215 lbs
    GOAL #3-210 lbs
    GOAL #4-205 lbs
    GOAL #5-199.9 lbs onederland

      I'm here - still sitting at 231. I'm in the veggie challenge this week, so will really get a good grip on my veggies. I know that I get plenty - just curious to see the actual numbers. Also, want to try a couple of new ones - going grocery shopping later today, so will do some meal planning! here's to a great week everyone !

        UHH!! Why do I always give in? For the past 2 weeks I have gorged myself with carbs. Even if I'm not hungry I shovel everything into my mouth. Starting to think I have a serious eating disorder. Compulsive eating? I am back on track this week. So far!!

          WOW.... Barb, gxi1247, and mimom48183. Good job at grabbing yourself and getting back on track. It sounds to me like a true Carb Addiction to me. Isn't that why we are all here in STAC ?

          And Barrnone, I'm with you on the veggie challenge. Unfortunately our little rural grocer doesn't carry anything I've never tried, so I'm going with recipes.

          I'm happy to say I'm down another 2-1/2 pounds this week !!! And off to cook some breakfast.
