    Morning STACers - I don't know if there is a rule on who starts this thread...but thought I would 'go for it'. I get into work so early and like to get my posting done before I start work.

    Here and on plan - really good day yesterday, food wise. Not sure that I had enough water, so plan for today - eat perfect [more veggie carbs] and lots of water...want to see that scale go down tomorrow.

    Im here!! 1st day back yesterday went well, 2nd day today (which is when i normally struggle) but so far so good. Been drinking lots of water to try and not make me want to eat anything bad. hope everyone else doing good. xxx

      Hey everyone back from vacation and happy with my results. I actually went off my diet during vacation nothing drastic I couldn't eat eggs anymore. Idid for the first three days then I hit a wall after that I ate raisin bran and fruit. I stepped on the scale Sunday morning and hadn't gained a pound. I started back on induction on Sunday and have lost two pounds as of today. Off to the gym at 1:30.

        Good morning all

        I know what you mean Barrnone, I finally decided after looking at lots of old post in STAC, that whoever wanted to start the thread for the day was welcome to. At least I haven't heard from anyone when I did Hope the scale moves for you tomorrow.

        Welcome back Focus83 and Evergirl. You can do it Focus, day 2 and everythings calling your name, right? I look forward to hearing your success tomorrow.

        I'm glad things are working out for you Evergirl. I don't know if I could go off and bounce back so well. Hope you enjoyed your vacation.

            I've never been aware of any rule on who post first, I think it is first come first. Glad things are going well for you Barrnone.

            Welcome back focus83!

            Good job Evergirl getting through vacation without a gain and getting right back on plan.

            Glad the rest of you are here and on plan even if you don't have much to report.

            I don't want to jinx myself but I think I'm back on a loosing streak. I've been going down close to a half a pound a day for the last three days, keep your fingers crossed for me that it continues. In addition, people are starting to notice the change, I got several compliments at the office today and one co-worker is going to get the book and try Atkins as well after she saw what I had for lunch, lol (left over roast beef and cauliflower mock loaded potatoes, yummmm).

            PLUS..... I went to Fashion Bug today after work and bought a new outfit in a size 14/16. I will admit a few things on that front though, first off the pants have elastic in the waist so there is a little wiggle room with that, second 14/16's are bigger than they used to be, lol, and thirdly, they are about as tight on me as my 18/20's were over the summer before I came back to Atkins. But I figured I better start picking up a few smaller pieces so I don't wake up one day with nothing to wear that will stay up. I can wear them now, but obviously not as loosely as my 18/20's.

            And finally I decided it was time to update my avatar picture since I'm getting a chin back, or is that loosing a chin? I don't know, either way you can see the one that is supposed to be there. My former picture was taken last year at about 230 pounds, (the new one was taken today) so it was time for a new one.

              nice pic barb - keeping my fingers crossed! I can't wait to get those compliments, havent really got a true one yet [only those that give the obligatory - yeah you look like you've lost - after I've been talking about atkins for a while :] - so really looking for the true one. Also, I'm dying to get into my size 16's. So close. Congrats on the loss!
