  • Monday 11/30 Roll Call

    Monday & the end of the month! It is hard to believe that this year is soon coming to an end. I for one will be glad to see it end. In the meantime I'm trying to make the best of each day.

    Good morning all!! Out the door and back to reality, but I'm still on track and plugging along! Hope you all have a great day!
    male/35/295/250/175? Weight loss is no longer my primary goal. Getting to the point where I no longer feel like h-e-doublehockeysticks is!

      Good morning everyone...off to help a buddy build a deck, hope the rain holds off..
      40 year old male 6' 3"

      What I know:
      1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
      2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
      3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
      4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

        Here an on plan, however the scale moved UP again today despite 2 days back on plan. And I'm starving, obviously I've not gotten back into ketosis yet, and nothing legal sounds good right now. I know its just a craving and will pass, but dang I feel like there is nothing that I CAN eat that I want. Patience I know, I screwed up and now I have to pay the piper, but I hope it passes soon.

        2nd Goal ~ 174 No longer obese
        3rd Goal ~ 150 In the home stretch
        Final Goal ~ 145 or below (I'll know when I get there) No longer overweight

        1) 35 pounds lost
        2) 40 pounds lost to move to Rung 5
        3) 45 pounds lost to update 15 pound loss picture series

          I got a little side-tracked this weekend also, but not too bad. Have stayed in the 220s for the last two days, so that's good! Have lots of squats to do today to make it to goal [arghhh], but will not lose that challenge.

          Plan to sign up for all the December challenges - that helps re-motivate!

          Busy day at work and at home - back to reality!

            Good Morning Everyone... I'm back from my Thanksgiving weekend, and stayed on track other than a couple shots of Brandy while gone. Happy to say I'm down another 2 pounds this week

            Barb, I'm sorry you are having a hard time. But I admit, reading about your hard time is strengthening my resolve even more to stay on track and not be tempted by foods I should NOT eat. Which with Christmas coming I need.
