    Hi everyone

    I have been doing Atkins "my way" for 3 months. I have not lost weight. I will stick to the program for a few days, and then I will binge on nuts/cream/sweetener. I am miserable.

    I am recovering from a long-term eating disorder, which cumulated in a recent 50 lb weight gain.

    My goal weight is 130. Right now I weigh 175.

    I am giving my word to doing this the way it was meant to be done. I am giving up all sweeteners completely, and I am also giving up cream. Nuts aren't allowed on induction, and Im not sure if I should really ever eat them because I overeat them

    I am so angry and frustrated at sabotaging myself. I want my normal healthy body back. Enough!

    This is my Christmas present to myself. I am also incorporating therapy and 12 step work into my life to support me.

        im 28 6ft 2"

        weight loss so far 79 lbs yeehaa

        im now in the 50 club

        current weight 173 lbs

          Thank you everyone!!! I just finished my first day of Atkins -- by the book. 20 grams net carbs, 1600 calories. I feel good, and I cant wait for induction to kick in so that I start feeling slimmer.

              Welcome! Many of us have had to do this more than once, for our own reasons - myself included. It's difficult, and nobody will tell you otherwise, but we are HERE to support you

I will revel in new recipes, new clothes, and the new feeling of being happy in my skin.
