    Hi there!

    Are you on induction?
You can only have 3 cups veggies - 3 c salad or 2 c salad and 1 cup of other veggie - Spinach is considered 'other' I believe...

Is this your total food for the day???? Im assuming so but just in case make sure you eat your veggies spread out. You don't want to eat them all at once, spread them trhough out the day..

Over all, I think this looks good. Make sure the bacon doesn't have sugar or cured in sugar..

Adreliluc, well I'm back on the induction - and yes I will eat them through out the day - It is hard to get so many carbs from veggies with only 3 cups a day - I will look at the list again and try to up it.. thanks for your input!

10 net carbs is low. There are more nutritious vegetables you can eat to increase your net carbs. You can find good examples in this thread: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...challenge.html

And 1500 calories are likely not enough for you. If you undereat, you will likely end up binging and/or making unwise food choices. Your BMR is around 1700 calories. I'd try to eat at least that.

Yeah, that was a dumb question, obviously that's a days menu.. LOL!

I dunno, my typical induction day is almost to 20... with cream in the AM w/ coffee, 3 cups veggies...
I do usually add in at least 2 oz of cheese though.. maybe that's it.
I will have to look at my fit day and see.
              lol

Over all, I think that looked good.

Georgiana - thank you I will look at better veggies ... anyway What happened was I went home (to colorado) for thanksgiving and it has been down hill since then! I eat bad when I'm around my parents I get so nervous and then in Dec we are trying to buy a house and rent our house out and then there is christmas and all the stress that goes with that --- SO in a nut shell it has been a very stressful time since Thanksgiving and I NEED to get back on Atkins! I felt soooo much better then!!

You know you'll see them again. As long as you go off plan every time you see your parents, it will be extremely difficult to be successful on Atkins.

Are you only worried of what your parents think if you eat or don't eat something? Or is there something more than this?

Planning helps you go through such times without cheating. Try to keep this in mind next time and make sure you plan your menu at least a day in advance.

What's your plan for New Year? Are you doing the cooking? Do you know what you'll eat?

Hiya, Hope you dont mind me putting in my 2 cents worth.......Im new to the group but, old to Atkins!!
I noticed you put Hellmans Mayo. There are about 5 diff types here in the UK with a lot of carb difference between them....obviously, the lower fat ones are highest in carbs.
I found that my own supermarkets 'own label value mayo' was lower in carbs than all the Hellmans & about quarter of the price....added bonus

Please excuse the Halloween background in the piccie.....my daughter did it for me & I cant get it back to normal now!!!

                        >>Eggs fried 3>>

You should enter "eggs, whole, raw" in Fitday.

Using the "fried" entry, you're probably adding ingredients to your eggs that you don't know about.

A large egg is 0.4 net carbs.

Make sure that Fitday isn't using the thinking of "calories in/calories out". Fitday isn't taking into consideration the metabolic advantage of doing Atkins.

You might want to try the "rule of thumb" of eating at 10-12 times your current body weight (in calories). Or eating at 250 above your BMR (which can be calculated here at BMR Formula.

At 230 pounds, 1900 might be undereating for you!
