      Good morning everyone, hope everyone has a great 2010 and that we all find what we are looking for and more importantly what we need.
      40 year old male 6' 3"

      What I know:
      1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
      2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
      3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
      4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

        Happy new year, everyone! Hope everyone had a safe night.

        Today, I'm starting my challenges and starting a stats journal. I've also restarted using fitday to help me keep track of what I'm eating.

        Hope everyone has a great day and is drinking their water!

              HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

              Another 1 Jan, another boost to get on the Atkins Wagon!!

              I successfully stayed on plan from Oct 2008 to July 2009 until I started mucking around with different plans and have been struggling to get back on the wagon properly ever since.

              Anyway, what better time to pledge my commitment to Induction than 1 January? So here I am. Day One and going well.

                  Happy New Year all! Glad to see some old names around again. Here, on plan and decided I'm going back to induction for a couple of weeks. Had too many slips during the holidays, although I was still 90% on plan, I need to get back 100%. I am bound and determined to be under 200 pounds in the next couple of months. I will NOT buy any spring clothes over a size 12 is my mantra at the moment. I've only bought 4 pieces of clothing in a 14/16 and I don't want to buy any more at that size. I will let my remaining 18's hang off me until I can get into a 12.
                  1st Goal ~ 199 Onderland -Met 3/29/10
                  2nd Goal ~ 174 No longer obese
                  3rd Goal ~ 150 In the home stretch
                  Final Goal ~ 145 or below (I'll know when I get there) No longer overweight

                      Wow, I lost 2 pounds over the holidays!!!. Glad its over and I know 2010 is going to be THE YEAR for all of us.

                        Day 1 of induction & I nearly mucked up within 5 mins of getting out of bed!! Did the normal grab the morning cuppa, cursed as I was almost out of milk & realised (just as the cup reached my lips) Id deliberatley let the milk run right down!! Re made Black Decaf Coffee with sweetner & saved a near disaster, lol

                          good going for day one didnt mess up but didnt get enough veggie carbs only about 11 so just the thing to get right tomorrow!!!
                          i think it was only due to the hangover that helped feeling off food somewhat xxx

                            Hey.. been back on plan for bout three days.. starting the year off right... in a health sense.. but found that i no longer am employed as of today.... what a really great way to set off for the new year.. bet i am gonna need some buddies to pull me out of the ditch once or twice.....

                              OH Lacy what a sorry way to start the new year. But I've often found that when things change unexpectedly I often end up in a much better place shortly thereafter. We're here for you!
