  • I;m tied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello everyone,
    I'm very tried any advice. I have lost 10 lbs. I admit that i could have lost more but slipped up on Newyears. However, i'm back on track. Also also need some into recipes. Thanks!

      I'm tired too... I'm on my third day of induction... it happens... also referred to as induction flu...

      Get over the hump - stick thru it... adding exercise - even though it sounds like the last thing you want to do when you're tired - helps alot.

      The Linda's site atkinsgal left is the best site for recipes EVER. I would definitely try that one first, she has great recipes and pictures on a lot of the recipes.

        There are many recipes on this site aswell as the Lindas recipes which are worth trying.10lb is a good loss just keep going hopefully you will feel better and lose more as the days pass.

          Feeling tired during the first days of Induction is not uncommon. It is your body switching from burning glucose to burning primarily fatty acids.

          Make sure you are consuming enough calories. You can enter your foods at fitday.com and it will give you back all the nutritional info you need. Your fat calories should be somewhere around 65%... but don't worry if they are not spot on. Protein should be about 30%.

          And while you're at it, take a look at your net carbs and make sure you are consuming over half of your net carbs from vegetables. Also check the Nutrients tab in FitDay to see where you stand with your vitamins and minerals.

          Are you taking a multivitamin?

          How much water are you drinking daily?

          How many net carbs are you consuming?

          Also also need some into recipes.
