  • Question on Extended Induction

    Hey all-

Because I have so much weight to lose, I am planning on extending my induction for a while. I was wondering if any of you have extended your induction and, if so, for how long? Do you think this helped or hindered your overall weight loss?

Thanks for your help, and have a great day!!!

Lots of folks extend induction for up to 6 months. Just be very careful that you don't start getting bored with the food choices cause that could send you off plan.

Be creative with your menu. Do you use Linda's recipes. The ones with the * are all induction friendly.

Also you might want to go up at least one rung....and add more veggies just for the fiber and nutrients.

Thanks. I hadn't thought about going up one rung and staying there a while. I might give that a try as well. I've been re-reading those chapters in the book to help me decide.

There's no reason to be afraid of increasing your carb level. Once you find your CCLL (the level at which you stop losing weight and inches), you're not stuck there. You'll decrease your carb intake by 5-10 net carbs, so that you start losing again.

Plus, knowing your CCLL will make things easier for you since you'll know that's the most you can eat to keep losing.
