  • Need help arrrggghhhhh :(

Soooo I was doing quite well on Induction then I ate my body weight in cookies and ice cream. Talk about self sabotage.

I was wondering, if anyone started on 25 carbs and skipped induction? I'm always jonesing for peanut butter and almonds so I figured perhaps I would be more apt to stick to the diet if I allowed those.

Any suggestions, comments, et cetera would be greatly appreciated!!!! I just want to lose this weight yet I keep kicking myself in the bum by messing up.

Sounds as if those are trigger foods?

If so, why do you want to reintroduce them?

Well I was on my ninth day and lost 10lbs.

I wouldn't call the almonds or peanut butter trigger foods for me since I can control how much I eat of those two products and they also make me feel satisfied to not crave sweets or anything else. I just wanted to add more variety seeing as my cooking skills are truly awful!

Why not continue on with Induction.

Maybe it's time to make them better?

Hi Skinny, Most of us are following Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution and he starts with 20 carbs on induction.
Do you know what triggered the cookie and ice cream binge? One of the things Induction is designed to do is to help us lose any cravings that we have and so we follow the plan by the book.
You could give Induction a two week try, and then start up the ladder until you get to the nut rung. Almonds are awesome for your health so I understand why you want to include them.
