  • 27 days in and doing good!

    I started Jan 3rd and have been doing pretty good! The keto sticks don't work that great but I read a study that said after a month the sticks may not work because liver is using ketones and thy are not spilling into urine. Scale hasn't budged for 3 weeks. However, I tried on a pair of jeans that I couldn't zip a month ago and they fit great! I could sit down and it didn't fill like I couldn't breath! I'm so excited! If nothing else keeps me from doing this woe for life, the fact that it is so much harder to get off the weight this time will help keep it off!

    I don't know where you've read this, but it's not correct. Ketone bodies are indeed a by-product of fatty acid metabolism in the liver... however, hepatic cells don't use ketones as fuel.

        Most excellent news. I know that the weight stalls can be disappointing, but the losing of inches is great too. I learned that adding veggies helped me lose more weight. Keep up the good work.
