Well - I gained 2.2.lbs. this week. Admittedly I am unhappy and it is taking very ounce of emotional ammunition i have to not be disillusioned ... I refuse to become depressed as I have in the past on gains when I have not gone off plan ... attempted to stay on eating legal all week ... only walked once so my exercise goals suffered ... the only explanation I can muster is that I had 2 restaurant meals -- one business lunch on Friday and a birthday dinner last night ... ordered pork chops friday (asuce i odered on teh side was served all over the chop so i wiped it off -- didnt taste sweet and theyclaimed that there was no sugar or flour or balsamic but I am suspicious about that ) and steak last night ... had legal appetizers last night (grilled seafood) ... the apps last night had some higher carb items like clams, oysters, calamari (all grilled) ... everything was "restaurant" salty ... so I am attributing this as a "blip" due to salt induced water gain and perhaps underestimating those higher carb seafood options ... I hope! ... Well - off to walk now in the 14 degree weather ! and eat all home cooked today - much safer ...
