  • It's me and I'm back

So I led quite the ADBB life around here some 3 or 4 years ago. I was a very different person then. I was living with a different guy, who was also on here with me and didn't have a lot of fans. I lived in Fremont, California and I was 205lbs. I did very well with Atkins and got myself down to my pre moving to Cali weight of 180. Fast forward 4 years, 1 bad breakup, 1 jobs loss, 1 family crisis and 1 failed pregnancy and I am the heaviest I have ever been. I guess I let that little bit get away from me while I was repairing everything else. The important part is that it is all repaired. I live in Boston, MA now with an amazing guy who is just the sweetest, kindest, most giving (and tallest) person you could ever meet. I have a great job and work with people I love. My family crisis is completely quelled, they're now healthy and happy. The last things to take care of are my out of control weight and my finishing college (different bulletin board). I've returned to my old friend Atkins because it was truly the easiest diet for me. I enjoyed all the foods I was allowed to eat and lost weight quickly. My boyfriend is also doing it along with me because at 6'5" 275, he's uncomfortable and wants to get back to a weight where he's comfortable doing the activities he loves like biking and rock climbing. I have high hopes for where this journey will lead and am happy to have the support of wonderful friends & coworkers (we're doing a biggest loser contest at work and I am not the only low carber), a loving partner and the Atkins Diet Bulletin Board.
