  • STAC Roll Call Monday March 1st

    Happy Meteorological Spring everyone!!!! I'm here and on plan, but still up a tad from my low, but I know its just the way my body does, so I'm not sweating it. I joined the March water challenge which should keep me on track with my water and help things level out.

    I love reading this board, I couldn't have made it this far without all of the great advice, support and wisdom. However, I have those days when I'm jealous of those "I lost 100 pounds in six weeks" posts (intentional exageration), when I've worked so hard for 30 pounds in six MONTHS. But then I got to thinking about it, does it really matter when I reach goal, each day is a new adventure learning more about myself and my body, and learning what it likes personally and not what works for someone else. So I will stay happy at my snail pace knowing that each day is a time for celebration and enjoying the baby steps along the way and enjoy the ride, after all if we stick to it we all end up in the same place. And I will do my best to keep that green eyed envy at bay.

    I also realized in my ponderings that I should be especially thankful that I am coming out of a long cold winter 30 pounds less than last summer, being that winter is the time I usually gain during the year, spring and summer are bound to speed up the process if I just keep on track.

    Final Goal ~ 145 or below (I'll know when I get there) No longer overweight

    I didn't leave plan, just out of town for a few days. And I lost 1 pound this week
    I love your ponderings Barb, and a great new picture to your collage too! That should give you motivation and inspiration.

        Morning All,
        Todays my 6th restarting Induction and Atkins and so far so good. I have alot of energy and have been sticking to plan even though I have about 200 Girl Scout cookies in my garage. Talk about temptation lol.
        Anywhoo heading to the Gym in a bit and hope everyone has a great day.

          I'm here and on plan, although yesterday was a busy work day and I didn't get my H2O intake in. Arg!

          I hear ya Barb and agree 100%. This time (for me) I think that I'm focusing more on a lifestyle change than on just losing the LB's.

          Been there-done that and hear I am again.

              I'm in and on plan. Had my first "date" with the personal trainer a lunch today. Holy cow! I could hardly lift my arms to wash my hair in the shower afterward!!

              Got take-out for lunch. I ordered a grilled chicken breast salad. Got back to work and I had everything but the chicken breast. Bummer!

                  Hey guys, I'm checking in late. I dropped off an application to a new job (positive affirmations). But by the time I dropped it off and got back home I had to go to my current job.

                  Still here and on plan. I forced down a little bit of food, but since my throat hurts so much, it's been hard. But I have been trying to get a veggie in and some protein. Hopefully I'll be feeling better tomorrow so I can eat more. I'm up in weight, but hopefully when I feel better it will be different.
