    How is everyone today?

    I'm here and still on induction (week 3). No movement on the scale but I've been lacking with the exercise the past week, also, due to the holiday and other things keeping me busier than usual.

    Off to the treadmill for me and, maybe, a Zumba class later.

    Good Morning Everyone...
    On plan and it looks like the sun will actually win today which means I get to go for a Walk !!! YEAH !!!

    I'm envious Karyn that you can casually say "
    and, maybe, a Zumba class later " ... the closest class for me would be 3 hours away, and only once a week... .That's what I get for moving out into the middle of nowhere

    I hope everyone has a Great Low Carb Day

      Boy did I pick a bad week to start. I am going to 8 hr. meetings all week. They supply breakfast and lunch, none of which is low carb friendly. Even if I pack my own lunch, I have no where to store it. You know, if I can't get on plan this week, I'll have to start next week. in the mean time, I can stock up on my low carb foods and be ready. It's disappointing though, because summer is almost here and another week is going to go by with no progress.

        Odrich: Can you cut up some summer sausage and cheese and pack a salad?? some people don't do summer sausage but that might be a good alternative for when hunger strikes..

        I Love Pugs: What's zumba class?? I've never even heard of it...

        I weighed myself for the first time in probably a year. I weigh 256.5 and it really nauseates me. My dad passed away about two months ago and I do not want to use the grief as an excuse to eat...so I'm trying to turn a negative into a positive...anyway, love this forum, it's nice to meet everyone *waves*

          Hi everybody -- was off to work early again today, so am just now checking in. Back on track after a bit of faltering on Easter, and am feeling great!

            Ultimate Goal = To feel good in my own skin. I'll know when I get there. It might be before or after 140 lb.

                Way to go Sham, you are my Atkins idol. You have learned what I am hoping to drill in this time, and that is to never give up and keep fighting back no matter what.

                I'm here and on plan, the scale is up a bit today, but I think its because I haven't been getting enough water in, that will be my goal tomorrow.
                1st Goal ~ 199 Onderland -Met 3/29/10
                2nd Goal ~ 174 No longer obese
                3rd Goal ~ 150 In the home stretch
                Final Goal ~ 145 or below (I'll know when I get there) No longer overweight

                Current Mini Goals:
                1) 35 pounds lost
                2) 40 pounds lost to move to Rung 5
                3) 45 pounds lost to update 15 pound loss picture series

                  Zumba is latin dance moves as an aerobic workout. It's also suppose to work your core. I saw an informercial for it late one night (you know the DVD and workout package kinda thing) but was very happy when it was offered at my gym. Working out is much more fun with someone or in a group.
