  • Roll Call Sunday - 4/25

Hi, everyone! I've been lurking lately due to being busy with school, but I just wanted to check in. I'm moving on to OWL Rung 2 this week and I'm pumped about eating yogurt again, especially in Indian food! Also, I'm down another 2.5 lbs.! Man, I love this WOE!

Best of luck everyone, and happy low-carbing!

Hey all, good afternoon. Feeling blah today because of PMS. Sorry guys. Anyway, just not much energy. I wanted sweet and whipped up some raspberries, cream cheese and heavy whipping cream. Tasted like yogurt and was devine. Gonna make myself go to the store later and stock up for the week. Anyone have any idiot directions for cooking ribs indoors? I need like step by step directions. Thanks

Is it hot where you live right now? I would suggest doing a LC rub for your ribs and oven roasting them on low (250-300 degrees) for 4 hours or so. They are so good that way. YMMV on the degrees/time, depending upon your oven. Low temps + long cook time = fabulous!

If it's too hot to turn on the oven I often make ribs in the crockpot;-) I rub them with seasoning, slice them to fit, (I have a large crockpot), and stand them up with the bones vertical, add a little water, turn it on high for an hour, then low for 6-8 hours. They fall off the bone!

Ohhh yeah, in the crockpot is a great way of making them too! MIL makes such yummy ribs in her crockpot. That sounds awesome, Sue, I'm going to try that!

Hey, in southern California, any excuse not to turn on the oven is a good one! I try to cook with my crockpot as much as possible, but ribs are particularly yummy that way

I completely concur. It's so hot in here right now, and every day after dinner. I need to start grilling stuff more often! And using my crockpot!
