Can I join the STAC membership? I did Atkins a year ago and loved it, and lost about 14 lbs. Why did I stop? That's a darn good question! I guess it was the goodies that everybody brings to work, and going home to visit mom where she makes all my favorites, and constantly having people tell me that Atkins is "bad" for you. So, this time around, I'm going to make my own goodies to bring to work and keep a stash of Atkins bars around just in case I get to the point that I think one cupcake isn't going to kill me, mom is just going to have to understand (it helps that I just went home and won't be going back until Thanksgiving), and I'm not telling people I'm doing Atkins, I'm tired of defending myself . . . the results will speak for themselves.
Oh and my name is Courtney. . . I'm a carbaholic. I need help!

OK day 9 induction and going well I have been cheat free throughout.
Went into town to do some shopping walked continously for 3 hours oh man so tiring!
Hi Courtney! This is a good place for motivation and to see everyone losing, and learning what works for them and what doesn't. I'm a third time around'er. This is my third run with Atkins. This time I've moved up the rungs and I've been doing much better this time around.
I'm on rung 6. This is a tricky one for me because beans seem to be a hit or miss with me. But it's liberating to eat foods that I couldn't on induction and still be able to lose weight!

As for me, I've been working a lot so I haven't been on like I would like to be. I'm on my way out the door now to get groceries and pick up a quick gift for a baby shower. But I wanted to check in and say I'm still on plan, sticking to rung six for a bit because I keep going up and down the same 2lbs. I'm at 154 right now, this is a tricky rung for me.
