Well, a little over 13 months after starting, I made goal.

Ok, just kidding.
It's been more rewarding to me to help out the newbies and see them losing weight and being so excited than it has to finally reach goal.
Outwardly, nothing's changed in the last 5 pounds, but inside, I know I can set a goal and accomplish it. I now know I'm not a failure, but that traditional medical advice failed me. The confidence I've gotten just from that far outweighs (haha, I kill myself) the boost I get from all the compliments. But boy are those compliments sweet.
I'm not embarrassed to take pictures now. I don't worry about ruining someone's wedding pics by being the fat girl. I don't have to make sure I turn a certain way or hide behind someone else. No need to photoshop them after, either.
There are a lot of little things throughout the day that remind me how lucky I am to have found this way of eating, but most of all it's how healthy I feel.
