    :help Hello, I'm 23, 5'5, and weigh 245 I started 7 days ago and weighed 256. I am now eating 1 or 2 of the morning start atkins bars a day and thats it..I need to know if thats ok or am i hurting/slowing my self down. How much weight has people lost in what amount of time, i know 2 pounds a week is good but I'm graduating from college in may and want to get down to 125. thank you.. Stefanie :help

    you want to get down to 125 by may??

    yes the bars are known to stall many many people...especially if you are eating 2 a day. best to leave them alone totally or use them in emergencies...like once a month kind of thing

      You surely don't mean that the bars are ALL you are eating, do you? Atkins isn't a starvation diet.

      And you also don't think you can lose 125 pounds by May either, do you? That's next month!

        let me clarify..

        1st let me say thank you very much for my respnses, :wave thank you. 2nd i didnt mean that i wanted to get down to 125 by may(sorry) I mean w/in a yr. hopefully. I am just eating the bars or a hamburger patty a day because im in college and graduate in may and my schedule is VERY HECTIC. Do you have any ideas for things I can eat that wont stall my weigh loss at all and that is Very little time.. thank you again.my email is stefies@hotmail.com if anyone would like to email me..

          Wraps: with like turkey, cheese, mayo, & lettuce wrapped around it,
          tuna fish w/ mayo,
          pepporoni bites,
          leftovers,
          bacon & eggs
          etc..
          Eat to live; don't live to eat!
