Back on May 4, I initially de-lurked and posted my progress to that point (down 33 lbs since 2/7).
It's now 4 weeks later, and I've lost an additional 13 lbs. I am now down from 264 (my high, and where I started from in February) to 218 this morning!!!!!
It is truly unbelievable.
Back on the 4th of May, I had said that I was going to see if I could get down to 210-217, and evaluate where I will be on June 5.
Well, I know I'm going to make 217 by this Saturday, and decided a week or two ago that I'm going to try for an even 60lbs overall, and then evaluate.
So, now I'm going to see if I can get down to 204 (again, I'm 6'3"). My trainer at the gym thinks that I ought to try for 180, but that seems almost too skinny for me.
The reason for the re-evaluation? The inspiration of my father-in-law, who is almost 60. He's 6'4", and his doctor wants him to get down to 200 (he's not heavy at all - he can't be more than about 215 all told).
I figure if my FIL can consider getting down to 200, I can try to lose the whole 60lbs, and get to 204.
We shall see!
