These success stories are phenomenal! During your 8,10 months, did any of you ever "stumble"? After doing a 14 day clean induction, I gave into 2 slender slices of ice cream cake. I had lost 12lbs and had planned to stay on induction for at least a month. At least, this time, I didn't let this take me over the deep end and just attack carbs. Previously, my rationale would be, "well, I messed up, might as well make it worth it ". I did resume this morning, but do I have to redo induction or just continue with OWL? Will my weight loss stall? I am a little disapointed, right now. I had also finally made it back to the gym and was getting in my 64oz of water.

Where do I go from here? ensive and :help and :confused
I had first posted this as a response, but didn't know how soon it my get read so I am also adding it as a new topic. I just really need some answers.
    Thank you!

hiya this is my second time on the diet. i was just the same way, if i messed up i would figure bah I screwed up already. but your only out of ketosis for 2-3 days then u will be right back on track. :joy just stick to it. I would stay under 20 carbs for a week just to make sure. Keep going to the gym and drinking water. Keep up the good work. :icondance

Yeesh.. I have restarted this so many times in the last little bit.. I keep on saying that I am going to do a clean induction and then I mess it up... This is for real now.. This is day one of my cheat free induction for life. If I can accomplish this you certainly can.. You have done something wonderful by making this your WOE!! I bet that you are looking and feeling your best. Also be happy aboout the money in your pocket that you are not having to shell out to some diet place. You are doing this on your own(and you are doing terrific)!!!

      WEIGH TO GO!! :hug :hug

"have a great low carb, water filled day"!!!

Unfortunately you do have to go through induction but fortunately it will only last a maximum of 3 days. I have had a few slip ups myself and it is so easy done. I almost had one today but fortunately stopped myself by thinking "nothing tastes as good as the way it feels to be slim".

It is hard and no one is infallible so I think that when we do fall off the wagon we shouldn't beat ourselves up too much about it. That's not to say we shouldn't learn from the experience and just get on with the diet!

Don't just be resigned to failure if you have been a bit naughty. Just tell yourself enough is enough, rememeber what it is that has caused you to stray from the plan. Have you been stressed out, feeling depressed or just sheer greedy? Remember how you felt after eating the naughty thing. You would have felt real guilty and stupid for breaking the plan. So next time you are gonna have some forbidden foods just remind yourself of the torment they caused in your mind afterwards and try to refrain from doing it.

This line of thinking has helped me I think. I have failed so many diets by quitting after one bad day and it really isn't worth it at all.
        bye bye to the bulge
