Jumped on the scales this morning. Checked it three times.
14 stone 3 3/4 pounds
199.75 lb
90.6 Kg
First time I have seen anything so low, so if I keep at it that weight will be secure by Christmas.
Of course "Onderland" does not mean the same for a 6 ft 3 in male like me as it means for a 5 ft 2 in female. For me it means almost at goal.
Recently I have been cycling lots and averaging 2000Kcals a day and about 80g carbs.
The next numerical staging post is tantallising the close - 90 Kg - can I weigh that when I go and stand on the Medical Centre Scales for my annual check-up next Friday? Let's see.
And after that I will be chasing 14 stone (196 lb) - at which point I will have a careful look at my belly flab and see if I thinks that's it.
http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
The above site currently sets my "ideal weight" at 192 lb and gives a medically acceptable range of 152 - 200 lb. It declares the Metropolitan Life range to be 171 - 187 lb for a medium frame.
Many thanks to those who have supported me over the last 20 months; and to those just starting or mid way through an Atkins programme - take heart, it does work.
