  • Need advice.

I joined this forum about 2 months ago and was really gung ho to lose 30lbs. I have lost and gained because I came off Atkins :nono and let life's stressors get in the way of my personal success.
    I need help :help.
Now I am back and determined to lose this weight before Christmas 2004. I have been following the induction plan for one week and have only lost 1.4lbs, mostly because I have been cheating. What carbs can I have on the induction plan, do I eat six small meals or three meals a day, I also started to work out three times a week.
Please someone help me get through induction successfully and continue on OWL so that I can be a success story and feel better about myself. I am desperate :sadblinky :smackhead

Try posting over on the Induction section for daily help and encouragement. Watch out though--sometimes it called "tuff love" over there.

If you don't have the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution book (DANDR) you really need to get a copy soon to help you understand why this diet is not going to work if you keep cheating at it. For quick reference check out the Atkins Diet FAQs section at the top of the Board.

    Rules of Induction: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ic.php?t=19760

    List of foods: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ic.php?t=19485

On Induction you can have up to 20 carbs a day but you need to eat only what is on the acceptable food list which comes from chapter 11 of the DANDR.

Six meals a day will probably be better to keep your blood levels a an equal quil. But you can adapt that to your life style.

Good luck. And hope to see you over on the Induction Board.
